Not to mention Cordarrelle Patterson. If he looks anything like he did last year when he gets back to playing, this offense will be much harder to figure out.
Only thing I’m concerned with in regards to CP is what exactly would be his role in this offense ? I don’t think he should get carries over Bijan or Allgeir. So is he a pure receiver now or a special teams guy/depth.
They want to keep him fresh. He started slowing down towards the end of last season. The best bet is to put him in in the fourth quarter after Bijan and Algier have worn the defense down.
4:25 this is also a good example of keeping a lot of things in his head at the same time. His jump cut on the safety #26 coming down is something he's keeping an eye on as he's going through that smaller gap and through the missed tackles, because he gets his body turned all the way to the left when he decides to start that jump cut to get an extra 4-5 yards there. His benefit is that he's gaining an extra 3-5 yards more than what most any RB would be gaining if put in the same position. His real strength is that he's making extremely fast decisions and judging people's stance and approach on whether he should cut left or right or stutter step forward like in his first TD when he splits the defenders. Quick decision making for a fast game.
The first run you speak on is the smoothest. The way he breaks the defenders down inside the box he’s smooth with his change of direction he’s a bad man.
I haven't seen a back like Robinson in Atlanta ever and I have been a falcons fan for as long as I can remember thanks to my dad. You guys are lucky to have him… At Texas last year, he was so good that he completely compensated for an awful O-line and offense in general. He rushed for over 1,500 yds for an 8-5 team. Led CFB in broken tackles. Averaged over 6 YPC while averaging over 4 yards after contact-meaning he got hit within 2 yards of the LOS on average and still managed to pick up an average of 4 yards after contact. Delusional. Not even the top candidate for MVP at his position lol.
Don't forget the kid in Miami, Achane could be next chris Johnson
I think he’s the best back in the league already…weird to say it but it’s true.
NFL folks were saying that last year while he was still in college. They were saying the best RB in the NFL was still playing college ball.
I hear that i feel Will Anderson, Bijan and Anthony Richards should be the best performers of this 23 draft clas
Look man. I get that yall excited bout ol boy. He's hella good. Hes exceptional actually. But yall gone stop acting like Algier is chopped liver. Mans is a BEAST. He aint even reached his final form and he still rushed for a stack last year. I wana see my boi get the same amount of touches
Dude you must be deaf 😂😂 cause dude clearly gave Tyler Allgeier. Hus props and respect due in the video. He acknowledged Tyler in the video
I think we are essentially if we could go back and put prime Falcons’ Michael Turner back with LaDainian Tomlinson.
You’re talking about two extremely premium runners.
Noone could do #7 more justice
bijan is gonna break so many ankles
My Hall in NY, he's the rising peak.
He’s balling, not to mention Zach Wilson is looking a little better each week!
These Bijan clips are better than the Red Zone 😮
Detroit Lions fan here. Yes, Robinson is the closest thing to Barry Sanders I seen. So far, his highlights are great.
I knew we were taking him all offseason just like I knew we were going to take Pitts. I didnt see London but knew Olave wasnt going to be the pick cause he cant block.
Anyway Ive seen AS vision as soon as he got here. I was saying all we need is a Michael Turner.
Well Algier and Bijan combined are better than M.T. and thats saying alot.
PItts isnt a good blocker either though...
maybe the current thinking is screwed up. rBs should be taken high and paid well when they are young, take robinson and gibbs. big impact players that shouyld produce early in their careers. later after the punishment of a few years their value may fall. but fresh from the draft, RBs seem to have the biggest impact of all
!!!
He needs to hold out next year if he continues this production. AtL will run him in the ground and won’t pay him a dime after. Tailbacks are ask to do the most and paid the least.
We have 2 other RB's to share the load. ANF Arthur Blank already loves him. As long as he's healthy he'll be a Falcon.
Whenever the Detroit Lions pass on drafting on a player they get instant mojo, and an automatic boost on all attributes it's apart of their curse. 🤣
he looks faster than his 4.47 time at the combine. Looks like a 4.3 guy.
He didnt run a straight line at the combine.. lol
That guy is Marshall Faulk.. And they’re gonna use him like Marshall Faulk..
Bijan = BADA$$!
Hard to pick the best play with this guy! He makes the pros look just as bad as he made the college kids look! Barring injury, I believe he will be one of the best all time backs.
This is the first Running Back that I have supported against my own team like EVER.. Before we played the Falcons I didn't even know who he was.. After the game I was googling "Robinson Falcons".. This guy is good!
