This build is easy and hard to get at the same time
Easy to start and make it work, hard to perfect and get it to it's highest potential
i would love if they added a ice dragon would make a really funny ice build with the spectral dagger
I think sadly frost is kind of a broken mechanic. Imagine a blue chonk with blue gems in it that just spams frost onto the enemy

The potion nerf is going to have a massive impact on lots of builds. Potion belt was definitely too strong compared to cost before but they didn’t need to nerf it into the ground.

To be fair, potion belt isn't really an item anymore, so it's not like it mattered much.
Potion not in the belt and not maximising the value in puzzle with only one life is killing me......
With the changes to Potion Belt, it really doesn't matter that much anymore. 2 random buffs is probably not worth.

my record was 95 heat. with 1 big dragon, 2 gloves, 4 burning coal, 3 birds an also with 1 heat stone. (what you can 1 time throw but with sack all 4sec)
Was the heat stone on the ruby chonk

In the beginning it was on my mana sword ( i was thinking good item because you collect fast the mana for stealing the life). But than i switch the stone to the ruby dragon.
Don't know if anyone already said this. But buying vampirism on a dragon build triggert me. 😂
Vampirism only triggers on MELEE.... also the debuff dagger is insane with dragons since it attacks again, when you stun the enemy. This build could have been so much better. But still, keep up the good work sifd. Have a nice christmas everyone!❤
I've been playing staff of unhealing or poison and I have been dunking on torch builds all day. Only omega high rollers were able to beat it.
just think if he had the daggers instead of the mushroom and garlics and the amount of stuns will cause them to trigger the daggers to attack, which triggers goobert faster. and if they were blood daggers would be interesting with the amount of vampirisms items.

Got a Cold Stone and Bag Of Stones, tried to counter heat builds(everybody in last 5-6 battles) with freeze, not even close(though it does smack other builds). Have to just wait for nerf. The potion belt got it, this will get cut to right length as well.

The devs should really put some kind of internal cooldown on stun effects.

i managed to just barely hit 100 heat, 101 to be exact. 3 chonks, 2 dragons, 1 egg, 6 burning charcoal, 16 second round against armor/stall+vamp build
Nice! I beat my record today as well. Guy had 9 heat at the start of the battle with 2x Chonks on roughly 1.00 and he got to 10 heat when he died :)

It wasnt easy to build but i was able to counter all of the chonk builds with a super fast dark saber and poison goobert setup
Yeah and Nuke obviously does even better than DSaber/Goobo combo. Unhealing Sabers are also fast enough. In Ranger insta Lamp on Falcon/Critwood does the job or oldschool Saber build. You can definitely race them up lategame - the only issue is that they are slightly faster with setup if they get somewhat lucky on eggs. Not by much but there might a turn in survival when this is almost unbeatable.

The only way to beat this build with a no mirror match is a high blind burst build and because the burning coals will still be getting heat i'm still not too sure about it xD
the way to counter it would be like you said a high blind burst build but you have to add burning coal
Nuke Reaper even after nerf beats this in 5 seconds ;p Tested. Any super high dps build works if you don't tech the new helmet. I feel it should be obligatory with heat build.
It seems like with these rapid-fire dragon stuns that a casual dagger or two would enormously boost damage? Or is the point of avoiding daggers to avoid spikes?
The thing is once you have 2 Chonkers and get to 20-25 heat with some hp left you win. You don't need to race with dmg, you want to have as high sustain as you can without losing heat. So yeah daggers are terrible idea ;p

With that many rerolls and that much empty space, at least in hindsight, two daggers (instead of four 2-gold rerolls) would have helped tremendously, right?
@@mighatesmakingusers No they wouldn't. You simply don't understand win condition similarly to most of these heat a$$hole$ (not saying you are one of them!). It doesn't matter how much dps you have once you get to 20-25 heat - you win regardless cuz of constant stuns: you have all the time in the world. What matters is getting 2x or more Chonkers (not like sifd 1 - seriously?), speeding them as much as possible with reasonable costs and than you spend every single gold on defense. There are builds that will kill you before you get to stun chaining. More defensive tools you get shorter is the list. Even 4x Chonkers can be too slow vs 2 or 3 most heavy hitters. Daggers don't do anything as you aren't racing with anybody - dps is irrelevant for you. Better than a dagger would be 2x onions or 1x normal shield ;p Even in mirror dps is irrelevant because nobody kills anyone before you start chaining stuns. Wins most likely the one who is faster in that.
You keep saying "But X would be better" -- and while that's likely correct, it's difficult for me to understand the jump from that to "Y is terrible"
@@mighatesmakingusers I told you: your dps is irrelevant as your win condition isn't killing your opponent but denying them actions with stunning and slowly chipping down. They way to counter your gameplan is either be faster than you in the same gameplan (mirror/hammer build) or simply kill you before you start chaining stuns. So daggers do nothing because they don't contribute to either your gameplan or deny opponents. What's so difficult in that? :P
Yes, there is synergy with daggers but it isn't hammer build where you don't chain stun and therefore has to have dps.

apparently darksaber mana build can counter this since it uses 1 mana to blind opponent so if you have enough mana gen you can technically outblind your opponent and then the build goes null. Give it a shot and see how that works
