What I got from this video and other comparison videos of these two cameras is this: The Go 3S is brighter The Go 3 is more natural looking. In summary, If you already have a Go 3, no point upgrading to the Go 3S, just wait for the Go 4
@@istarbuxsThe logical option will be the GO3 S if money is not an option but if you want cheaper then the GO3 is still very good. Unless you put footages of the two side by side you’ll struggle to tell the difference
nice comparison I sold my go3 prior receiving the 3s and I haven't the opportunity to do such a thing.... but I still miss the real free frame and keyframes to fix the pov...
if it was a video from a few days ago, when he was using it on his bike, i believe it was the go3s one. i may be wrong but i just watched that 6 videos ago before seeing thks great review. @@Nb066
I get what you are seeing. The Go3 has darker blacks but if you zoom in or crop in you can see the difference. That being said I have removed the clear lens that came with the go3s. Not sure if something was wrong with it but I put on a CPL lens and it's better. I may buy a plain clear lens off Amazon and compare the OG to the replacement.
@@SatifyingVideos-uk6df I disagree. A lot of people will always edit their footage so they would like to look of what the footage can become or how much you can edit it. There are plenty other channels. I just do auto on everything.
@@ScottsReviews Thanks. Don’t worry I stopped watching midway and as you suggest will go to those different channels who shows the out of the camera comparison. I agree people edits their videos with their own preference of editing them hence if you’re looking for wider audience doing out of the camera or just put both if you really want to show your way of editing it is better way to go. But sure I’m more than happy to go to other channels.
What I like about the Go3 is that it actually has a wider FOV(11mm) vs the Go3s(13mm). For vlogging that extra wide angle helps.

I want to bug the go 3. I saw an honest review saying the go 3s is falling apart and stuff so I´m a little bit scared.
What do they mean about falling apart? The build quality pretty much the same

IMO Should not enhance any image when doing comparison.
