Marie-Fred was a real one for this. Despite having fucked up and ruining everything she could have had with Wayne, she respected him and Katy enough to run intel to him when she saw Katy was being disrespected.
She did great. People make mistakes and how they handle that means a lot, at least to me. She knew she was in the wrong originally and did her best to be a good person to Wayne moving forward.
@@joewwilliams Wayne is a gentleman, he picks up his opponents after fighting them and offers a sign of friendship. He doesnt role up his sleeves in this scene because he doesnt care if Dierk is ready, he doesnt plan on picking him up, doesnt plan on being his friend. Simply put, this fight isn't meant to show him as the toughest guy in letterkenny, he is't trying to prove something, he's just going to beat the ever living shit out of an asshole, and every moment is going to be deserved.
I fucking loved that final scene. They warned him time an time again. It also shows how close the community really is ONLY because of Katy. She's the reason everyone started to get along and know each other. She's usually the bridge between everyone. You just cant hurt her, and expect nothing to happen.
YES!! The instant leave to get there by the entire group. The rage registering on everyone's face. Someone made another video with the dancing scene and arrival to go after the jerk, but it's cut with music from the Avengers. Funny and some how causes goosebumps too.
I mostly agree. Don't grab another person by the face like that. My friend is currently in jail because of a dude who grabbed him by the cheeks. It was exactly how his father used to grab him before starting.
I love returning to this video. It's Letterkenny in a nutshell, and a spectacularly well put together edit. The final scene in particular is a wonder - Wayne is first in line, as promised. Whilst nearly every other named mfer is rolling up the driveway at full pelt intent on delivering a badman beatdown, Bonnie McMurray can be seen just gracefully striding round the massive black truck and you know she's going to plant a foot where the sun shines not. Honourable mentions for Mrs McMurray looking terrifyingly ready to tear our miscreant in half by herself, and newly swole Stewart keeping his hat on during his fury sprint.

Not only that, it was the first time we saw Wayne run. Most of the time, he's calm, collected, and "end of the laneway, don't come up the property." Here, he's ready to tear the dude a new one with no limits.

Whoa!! I didn't expect that at the end of this clip. I am shocked at the level of emotion that it evoked. I watched it again and it did it again. To see a group of people look out for one another like that these days is pretty much unheard of. Well done!!
I’ve never had such an emotional response to this low budget of a show. It’s perfect. You stepped out on the towns princess, and the town loves their princess.
Its a good feeling when the whole squad has your back. That feeling of unity. When you know youll go to war for the ones you love and theyll go to war for you. Irreplaceable feeling
I love the beat down scene. Wayne spoke no words, but everyone knew immediately what happened and didn’t hesitate to rush to her defense. Wayne warned Dierks that he would have a line of people wanting a piece of him if he hurt Wayne’s sister.
The thing that makes me believe that the farm house set is actually a farm house is the framed aerial photo of the farm hanging on the wall. Every farm house has one.
Coupla things: 1. Wayne doesn’t look at the strippers don’t know if him and Rosie were still together but he’s being respectful 2. Wayne grabs dierks AFTER he stares at Rosie too long that used to be his sweety that never wronged him so he’s trying to protect him 3. Katy never looked back because she knew her brother and the whole town would have her back always
the chills run deep in that last scene.... once i witnessed something similar. a situation where everyone there knew what to do. a girl in the drive through looked us straight in the eyes and mouthed "help me". lady called 911. mc d's drive through was blocked with a pickup. i personaly opened the passenger door and pulled the girl out while the dude driving was yelling. the van jumped the curb and sped off just as the police rouned the corner! when a community comes together its a powerful thing!
I mean, they probably wanted to avoid showing that one lol. Dudes got like 10+ pissed off people charging towards him. There's only so much gore they can get away with.
Their story should have ended with: Multiple people: "Hey has anything heard anything about Dierks?" Dan: "Peoples disappears all the times." And end of season, we see Dierks tied to a chair, blindfolded, gagged, bruised, bloody through a basement doorway. Aunty Tannis steps into frame inside the room, lights a cigarette with a blow torch, and closes the door to end the shot and season.
