Having watched this video, I hoped you would have covered would kind of a "file" a package / NuGet package is when installed. Having done my own reading, a NuGet package is in the form of a NUPKG file(basically a zipped file) when installed locally on your computer. However, when you install it via visual studio, and check in the dependencies folder of the respective project(s) in which the NuGet package is downloaded in. The package is in the form of a DLL file?
So than did visually studio unzip the NUPKG file(representing the respective package installed) and paste the DLL file in the respective project(s), by default, automatically for you? Rather than you having to do it your self? If you had installed it locally on your computer.
Or is the NuGet package already installed as a DLL file? I'm confused.

Very helpful because I wasn't sure if installing a package (like EF Core) is just for my *project* or is it on my computer somewhere that which means I don't have to keep downloading and installing. Looks like it is just for projects.

I get "401 Logon failed" trying to browse an external package source in VS2019. I am not getting prompted for credentials. I tried working around it but haven't found the solution.

Visual Studio is overly complicated. Which is stupid.
