Last few sentences are correct. But considering everyfault on child is not correct. Failed parents are responsible for child's behavior in 99% cases. If parents give time to child , talk to child with eye contact for 15 min like " how was your day at school" ? Child will narrate half an hour. When listened to thier words without interrupting, child feels parents are good & listens to them. Then parents need to guide child a little. Child may accept it or partially accept it. Parents need to understand it. Then only AGE GAP or GENERATION GAP difference will be solved. Sit with your children & listen thier POINT OF VIEW also. Understand thier opinions also. Then can discuss which is best & accepted by both.. then only this generation gap will reduce. Parents who don't want to listen to thier children & thier point of view , will just have to lose them stating generation gap!
