Both of them were bloodthirsty warriors. After Kratos took Asclepius ambrosia and left Alrik for dead, Hades resurrected him and ordered him to kill Kratos for costing him the wager for the ambrosia. Unable to save his father Alrik the new king swore the Ghost of Sparta would surely pay. Even to this day Kratos questions what he’s become.

No the trick is getting the harpy in a particular spot and then killing it while it's elevated. If it's in that spot in the corner and you get lucky, the harpy will repeatedly enter its death animation where it's basically bouncing up and down and will just infinitely spawn red orbs. It's not as much as some of the chests in the late game oh, but it's good for closing those tiny gaps between levels.
