Wow. This is a great video for a med student. Thank you so much for sharing. I wish everyone could be as clear and concise.

Appreciate video content! Excuse me for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you thought about - Letochy Fast Apnea Plan (search on google)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for curing your sleep apnea without the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate finally got astronomical success with it.

Sleep studies are great tools to discern what is really going on with an individuals disturbed sleep pattern .

It's annoying that 99.9% of all content about sleep studies are about sleep apnea! There are other sleep issues.

I'm a sleep tech and I think the reason behind this is that they really do make up the majority of people's sleep problems. A MSLT, a diagnostic test for narcolepsy, is probably the second most common type of study we run and issue we work with.

@@kaylagonzalez3465 if someone is doing the study and you can see they stopped breathing do you guys give them oxygen or since they failed the test instead of waiting to speak to the doctor about the test do they see someone right away for a Cpap machine?

@@II.am.Gold.if the sleep apnea is severe enough they’ll be given a cpap to use for the rest of the night of the study. My apnea was mild so they just let me sleep thru the night and called me with results later

@@imaginethatart2844the sleep clinic I went to for my sleep study said I have severe osa but not once did they try to put me on a CPAP or anything. Maybe it wasn't as severe as yours was.

@@YES-IM-TROLLING I doubt it, not to mention it really wouldn't make sense... Fount out I have SEVERE sleep apnea... As a matter of fact I'm wearing my mask now and I'll tell you after you adjust you feel SOOO much better in time, more energy, and everything.. I'll never go without it.. there has been two nights since I had it that I fell asleep without it and I totally regretted it the next day because believe me I noticed the difference

I'm in complete admiration of this. I recently read a book with a similar topic, and it was astonishing. "Better Sleep Better Life" by William Brook

Do you need a sleep study to confirm OSA after a positive overnight pulse oxymetry study suggests OSA?

Proliferation of neurons in the hippocampus should occur, thus making your memory return (partly).
