Guys let’s appreciate the amount of incredible matches Dave has been part of. I mean from winning a match agains Denis, making Devon stay under the table for most of match, incredible match against Genadi where he almost won, then win against Vitaly which many consider as best match in history and finally a very good match against Ermes. I miss the days of active fighters man, these days once a fighter reaches the championship level its a blessing if they even have two fights a year- often times its like 1- when Canelo had 4 fights in the span of 11 months in 2020-2021 that was a huge deal 3 of them against champs/top guys to, but very rare, the days of Tyson and Bowe fighting like 7-15 times a year are long gone sadly, but yeah awesome seeing greats like Chafee still top rated and being very active!.

I believe Levan's attitude at this point of his career is a "Catch me if you can!" attitude. And IF Levan were to drop weight and agree to a weight limit, he would do it out of arrogance and not sportsmanship. Just my opinion.

I think Dave transitions to the press to give his side pressure muscles a break, giving him better longevity in his matches. Smart. I think Chaffee will continue to evolve to try to solve his endurance issues.
The transition must be faster + smoother in order to be effective. Hope Dave works on that and destroy.

He fights various YOUNG athletes (hook and top, it doesn't matter) and almost everyone can win a few rounds, or even win a duel!*
In 1985, Mike Tyson fought 3 times in the month of November. 4 Times!! in a single one month period (from Oct 25th-Nov 22nd).
He was 19. Tyson was a phenomenon.
I miss the days of active fighters man, these days once a fighter reaches the championship level its a blessing if they even have two fights a year- often times its like 1- when Canelo had 4 fights in the span of 11 months in 2020-2021 that was a huge deal 3 of them against champs/top guys to, but very rare, the days of Tyson and Bowe fighting like 7-15 times a year are long gone sadly, but yeah awesome seeing greats like Chafee still top rated and being very active!.

Lighter fighters sometimes rack up large numbers of fights, but big boxers fighting constantly I think is a thing of the past.
