They are developing their own flow which is somewhere between technical and melody it couldn't compete with gojira but definitely gojira sounding riffs
I've never been a fan of the singing in metal because of the screaming (yes, i know this is an important part of metal, but i mostly listen to stuff similar to the tracks in DOOM 2016/Eternal as these are the games that got me into metal), but slackjaw's music just hits in a different way so i actually enjoy it

Idk why by the beginning of this with the static film and the giant wolf makes me think of a rob zombie movie. Then it’s just a huge breakdown into a badass riff that you can hear several bands in.
