I love to see kids get the time and opportunity to grow. I'm certain if they were to start a senior at point guard and give lamelo heavy bench points they would've gone farther. He's very erratic late game. He's not poised at all. He just starts flinging up 3s off balance. The kid can ball but they're not helping him by allowing him that much green light when he's not ready to use it efficiently. It's not fair to the other 12-14 guys on the team ( even his brother) that they have to rebound, defend, and take sound shots while he's playing matador defense then coming down launching 3s from 40 feet,off balance. He's a sophomore so he has time but it's going to be more of the same especially with liangelo leaving if they don't instill some knowledge in him
