- NEW Challenge Mode in Mario Multiverse! (closed beta)
In this video I try the new Challenge mode for Mario Multiverse on HARD mode. You get 10 lives to complete as many HARD levels as you can.
Mario Multiverse is (sadly) still in a closed beta. I have nothing to do with making the game or choosing who gets to play this game. I have no download link or any other way to give you a copy. I'll announce when there's a public release. Until then, I hope you enjoy the videos. Thanks for watching!

Spiky Shellmet + Hammer Suit sounds like an awesome combo actually.
Agreed. Sounds overpowered.
Even though the hammer suit has a buzzy beet shellmet when you duck but I can agree. Having it at all times and being able to break more things is better than ducking to have a less but still effective one.

You can change life settings before you start, and that includes an infinite life mode in case you want a more casual run.
I have been loving watching you play Mario Multiverse. Its refreshing to see all the creative ideas and challenges people come up with, an extra fun hearing how much love you have for the game while you play. Challenge mode... no match for the master BTG... Thank you for the smiles. Never fail to make me feel better with my puzzled worried mind.

This mode is absolutely amazing ! I kind of wonder what those coins you won will be for :) I've mentioned a lot of features I'd like, but the only ones missing for Multiverse to be considered polished would now be coop and slopes. I'm glad Neo hasn't given up !

I love this game animations, is soo cool and different, but without mixing up the classic feel of Super Mario! Hope someday I can play it... loved this Challenge Mode :D

The Super Mario All Stars Sky/Athletic theme is BANGING! I just wish that the game comes out publicly soon...

Fun fact, lankey Mario or the weird mushroom, started out as a glitch in Mario Maker 1, but then Nintendo decided to make it into an actual intended item cause I think they found it so funny. Wish lankey Mario was usable in SMM2, but all we got of him there is an easter egg in the level maker if you knock on a placed door enough times, and as the "you failed!" animation for Super Worlds if you fail the baseball minigame

I agree that extra lives should be acquired while playing, like in *Wily Challenge* in Mega Man Maker you can get extra lives while playing the challenge. _cough_ plz play it _cough_ 😁

It will be insta-killed by C&D from Nintendo the moment it goes into open public.

@@5434345 For release they should definitely look into releasing the Mario themes as addon packs for it. That way Nintendo can't take down the game if it only has original content, they can only take down the packs, which people would distribute amongst themselves regardless

If Nintendo doesn't be mean and cease and decease them like they did the SML now I have my Super Mario Bros X 2 which is also a really fun game you should try it out you can play as tons of Nintendo characters and a Super Mario Style there's Mario 132 World assets all mix together plus a lot of other games it's really freaking fun and it comes with its own Story Mode called The Invasion 2 and then a bonus when called up princesses clutch I really recommend you checking it out and have you heard the game Terraria well apparently it's based off a Terraria cuz the original maker Terraria made the original version

This is a fun format, but I think they could have let you set a level cap goal, such as 10 levels and let you keep your 1UPs.

That last level needs work. It looks impossible to beat, even with all that time.
True. Looks like it was made with multiple plays using up multiple lives in mind. Not good for a challenge mode.
Why do I think that not counting of is a technical glitch??

It's so cool. Sadly I was asked not to share how to ask to join the beta because the creator would get flooded with emails asking for the game.

There a lot of fake sites and no one links the original / discord or any other way to get info about this project

3:16 In all this time in closed beta, they never managed to make a timer that doesn't go by SMB's seconds!?
MM started out as a level creator for the original SMB, which is why the timer goes by the original SMB seconds. Yes, the seconds in the original SMB are that fast.
@@MisterBeanJeans Really? MM was actually a SMB creator? Still, this is not an excuse: if I want the time limit to be 500 seconds it doesn't mean I want to have... (lot's of Wiki checking and maths later) 200 seconds
