18th Kathina Robe Offering Ceremony

Kathina refers to the offering of the special robe presented to Monks, who have completed the 3-month period of Rains Retreat Called Vassana in Pali. The Kathina Ceremony is 2566 years old. It is a Monastic tradition preserved & observed by Buddhists all over the World because it is an extraordinary opportunity to acquire merit once a year.
