It's a shortened version of "swagger," which is a way of walking with too much pride. it used to just mean a kind of fashion that's popular in America, but it's associated with teenagers, hip-hop music, bragging, and being full of yourself (prideful). People would say "they got swagger" to brag about themselves. Now swag is a kind of sarcasm (a kind of joke) -- if someone says that they "got swag" then you shouldn't take them seriously. They're trying to make fun of people who try too hard to look cool. Also sometimes people just yell "swag" when they're trying to be funny. I can post some examples later if you still don't understand, but mostly it's just a joke. Does that make sense?
Not a problem. :) It's also worth mentioning that many of things that she says are slang aren't really used by native speakers anymore -- my grandfather calls people 'ace.' I can totally see how she could get mixed up though, slang changes every 10 years or so and it's hard for native speakers to keep up. the place was ace? that's awkward sounding and would have asked what he meant by saying that. The context most people use ace is if they made a good grade on a test or did a good job on an interview. Also, cheesy....just wrong. cheesy is most of time used to described an over used idea or fashion. These are also just slag, not any "new" words used my today's teens. These videos are very informational and you should keep up the good work.
