It would be interesting if in book 9 we found out that Sophie and Dex had died in book one, Then Keefe and Fitz died trying to save them. Perhaps the Black swan is some kind of angel group.

@@kotlcharacter7296 it's unlikely but maybe the elves were all hunted to extinction and in book 9 we will be following Sophie on her quest to bring them back to life. So it is possible that Silveny and Grayfell were the only Alicorns to die and the Alicorns can bring them back to life! this is why the Ogres would want them! Maybe Exile is like hell?
