Lennon was ahead of his time, I'm surprised more indie rock artists haven't covered this one (especially guys like Mac Demarco). I always thought this song was super underrated!
I always loved this song! I always had a personal connection to this song, very simple yet great message. Those single tracked vocals sound so great, almost wish it was like that no double tracked vocals. Awesome work, keep it up!!
Excellent, as always. I believe that this Lennon album is a good option to "dissect", I mean John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band. Mainly because it is a "lean" album. It will be possible to hear Lennon's guitars and pianos very well.
Wow, the instrumental is basically one of the first lo-fi songs in history

There's a raw mix on the Plastic Ono Band box set. It's the entire album without the Overdubs and no fades.
Ringo always had the right touch on slow, quiet songs
Imagine John doing this one live !
Thanks for Sharing, could you please consider doing She Is A Friend Dorothy’s,I love the Piano on it.

Indeed, I've always had fun deconstructing songs from this album + the Atmos mix is pretty good for separations.
