Just bought a Dyna 2013 Street Bob, previous owner in a badass job customizing.... chopped rear fender and Mounts making a ducktail fender, also welding a sissy bar right behind solo seat bobbing it out... My problem is the cut fender mounts. Is there any way to restructure defender Mount that he cut off without welding? I did put a longer fender on to cover the tire more, using 2 fender bolts that are left and a bracket connected to fender and metal under seat.... But I want the step up saddleman seat no way to safely mount to rear fender, I also wanted to put saddlebags(quick detach) it's like 6" of rear bike was deleted. ...Can You Help??? Thanks in advance

I like the idea and look of the full fender replacement. I have 16 Street Bob, and I"ve been looking for turn signal and license plate relocation so I can add the Leather Pro's saddlebags. While the full fender replacement may be the more expensive option vs relocation brackets. I think this is the best-looking option I've come across! Thanks for another great video!

1. Does the IMZZ tail light have the on/off strobe feature setting like the Moons?
2. If you had to do the conversion again, how would you do it? Piece it together or with a kit like IMZZ?

I have a 2010 Streetbob and didn't like the rear fender, one day on ebay I saw a complete set of tins - front fender, complete tank with console, speedo ,fuel gauge, idiot lights and all the internals and a rear fender complete with light, standard licence bracket and wiring loom all in Deep Cobalt Pearl ( which I prefer to the original black) for £500 - about $650 US at the time about 3 years ago. Second hand yes, but all in perfect condition from a three thousand mile 2006 model.... sometimes you can be lucky on ebay but I did have to drive a round trip of 500 miles at a cost of £120..... but then I sold my bobbed fender and light for £160 !

I ended up using the Conelys fiber glass fender, Moons MC taillight which is just a re labeled light from China and the same license plate bracket. Had a buddy paint match it in trade for some t bars I had. I think I have maybe $400 in mine. I got the harness from Harley. Only issue I had was the tail light. Looks like yours does the same thing. The brake light will light up yellow when you have the turn signals hooked up. Its because the chopped fenders taillight and turn signals all work as one. If you take your bike to the dealer they can flash the ecm to make it think it has regular turn signals and tail light.

As long as the years match 06-17 were the same and 05 and earlier so coneleys should have the fenders separated that way

I want to do that very thing with my 2000 Dyna with the swept-up fender. I like the full fender cleaner look. It looks like an easy conversion.

Style line reinforces ( strengthens) the fender. Not so flimsy..
Very good info. Im swapping out 2003 FXD Gunmetal blue anniversary tins in a week or so. I bought a replacement gastank in black and added chrome center panel.. I found a PERFECT CONDITION set of FXD fenders off 1999, that I color changed to black to make full set. This info will help me fly through fender swap.. Thanks I sub'd "DYNAS" !!!!

Ever considered the FLD Fender? The FLD fender is where I am currently, though seeing Imzz will "color match", and my wife has a hard candy custom, yea, may save a lot of headache just shelling out the $$$

Nah haven’t looked into that I myself went with a carbon fender rod has an imzz elite fender and are buddy got a oem full fender

Great video, thank you guys! Question: I ordered the Moons MC integrated tailight and circuit board along with the Gorilla wire harness for my 2017 FXDLS. Got everything installed and buttoned up on the new fender but my brake light is constantly on, and my hazards don't work. The signals kinda work where the outer portion of the signal works. If I unplug on of the two "2 wire" connectors from the circuit breaker, I get a "full" signal as in there are two rows of LEDs signaling (imagine a later model mustangs signal style). Any thought or suggestions I can try?
Why does the amber lights illuminate when you hit the brake and not red?

At a point in time in the future, the 2012 fxdwg( wideglide) will be getting a fender that curls up like they used to( new style from a fatboy or something). Itll be an interesting switch. Wg w/o a curly fender just isnt a wg.😂

Why turns signals go ON instead of the brake light when you press the brake at 16:32 ?

I have a 10' dyna fat bob which I swapped my rear fender to a wide glide one. Will that harness work? I just want a taillight mounted on the fender. No turn signals. Thx for any advice!

Did you guys have to reprogram your BCM. I have a 17’ FXDLS and installed the Moons MC taillight with a guerrilla cable. The strobe function did not work and moons is saying it needs to be done.

greenhorn grower what kind of tbars r they let me know? I’m not familiar with roadkings, but the only thing that would make them unable to fit is if the triple tree holes for bars are different then a dynas if that makes sense.

I ordered everything from this video and installed for my 2009 dyna really easy and great video but running into a little problem with everything plug an play. As I press my brake turns orange everything else works properly turn signals running lights and license plate light are fine but as I press brake only amber.. any suggestions?
I believe if u go to Harley they can flash your bike to fix the issue!

Wondering do you and did you guys install the front spacers you took off the original fender back on the new fender even with the sissy bar. Wondering if it is not needed with the sissy bar or will it be to tight and damage the paint or fender?
If u add a sissy bar on the inside of the fender struts without spacers it will scratch the fender we used the spacers

Question about the IMZZ rear fender kit people are saying that they had to have there ECM flashed because the light is Orange instead of red. I ordered one already from there for my 12' FXDB and was wanting to know if I would have to do that too?
SlowRide Co. yes, don’t trip though, you would have to do it for any aftermarket integrated taillight. Some dealerships do it for free, some charge like $40.

0413 98 yes it would work if u have a full fender but the harness is from guerilla cables

Where do I get the rear bolt? Do you have tk use the blinker delete kit?
David Sisneros if you go with an integrated tail light just pick up some bolts from your local hardware store to secure the fender to the struts. If u want u can keep the blinkers and use a blinker relocation kit.

I got a RWD full fender, and harness/led light/curved license plate/blockoff olates etc from speed kings coming Friday for my 2016 FXDLS. Curious... Did you use spacers between the new fender and fender struts? I noticed my stock 2016 FXDLS rear fender has steel spacers between fender and struts, but only in the front mounting holes. Not sure if I need to use em and get 2 more or just not use them
