  • People mean flat states when they’re talking about flyover state. This definitely is not one of them. The scenery is very beautiful in this region. If you have not heard of it, consider looking it up. It’s called the driftless area.
My website has stories about other adventures if you would like to check it out

Or you can just keep following here and watching the videos as we paddle the entire Mississippi river

That’s awesome! I wish I hadn’t wasted my youth working at a STUPID JOB! Be careful have fun. I will have to settle for tripping up and down the pecatonica. I’m way too old for what you guys are doing! But i appreciate your videos.

I bet there is less mosquitoes on the Colorado River. Grand canyon! Grand Lake Colorado to Yuma Arizona! What are you guys doing after the trip? Hopefully other rivers as well

@@DavidAbreu7777 this is the first trip I documented on TH-cam. I am not sure what the next one will be but going down the Colorado river through the Grand Canyon in a raft is a bucket list item. I walked across at rim to rim earlier this year ( south to north)

@StoicNomadic I'm alone so a kayak would be better for me I think. A kayak made for the rapids. I've always wanted to white water kayak and camp

@@DavidAbreu7777 I like the idea of having one of those with a rubber skirt around it so you don’t get any water down on your legs

@@StoicNomadic I wonder how to transport the gear also. Maybe a raft is a better idea. Rafts are good in rapids. How's the trip? Where are you guys now? Will you three stay together for more trips?

Our third trip together and will likely take another. We’re camped in the sand in Iowa at the moment. Night train and a grumpy beaver here too
