Ok fine I've used this song before about a year ago in that Animash, but I finally downloaded Moulin Rouge onto my laptop today after watching it for the millionth time last night and I just had to edit with it. I knew it was only ever going to be a quick video, but after searching my iTunes this was the only song I wanted to use.
While it is technically based around the whole film, I found I ended up focusing more on Satine because of how dramatic her transformation is. She only ever made men believe that she loved them, but it was never real. With Christian, she found everything she needed and learnt what true love was, only for it to be taken from them both.
Another not-amazing-in-the-slightest video, but hey I wanted to finally edit with this film and so I have. :) But yeah, definitely not happy with this... I feel like it's lacking something. Oh well, enjoy anyway.

This is beautiful, absolutely STUNNING piece of editing. Moulin Rouge is one of my favourite films out there and you've captured the very essence of its story. The love, the loss, everything is in this vid.
Watched it three times now to see if it gave me goosebumps like it did watching it the first time and it still does :) I love the montage editing to go with the soundtrack and you've really captured the different emotions between Satine and Christian.
