Different types of fingertip grip works signficantly better depending on the size, the shape and the weight of the mouse, and if your grip is not compatible with the mouse you are using you will aim worse. for example if a fingertip grip user plays with a big mouse thats heavy hes going to perform significantly worse than if he was using a small mouse thats light. thats not to say you cant get better with an incompatible mouse, but you will have to adjust and compromise your grip which will slow down your aim training progress.
Ur airpods will work better with an iphone, it’ll still work with an android but worse. It’s all by design from the manufacturer, doesn’t change the fact though.

I changed my skates on my GPro Superlight and the sensor now stutters in game. I actually think he is correct. Sensors are tuned to be a certain distance from the mousepad, and when you change the skates, which will be a different thickness to stock, the sensor doesn’t perform optimally

Razer Viper V2 pro + Tiger ICE v2 dot skates + Hayate Otsu SOFT XL (Wine Red), my aim, re-adjusting to shots with lower initial friction, mirco flicks, tracking got decently shocking gooood for FPS games. The fact is that shroud stick to one mouse and sens making his muscle memory strong with that particular fixed stuffs so he bothers to change skates etc to ruin his aim / sens etc.
I mean, most PROs know nothing about mice, mousepads, and keyboard, and for sure, and this is the guys who earning money by being better at gaming. So certainly most streamers have no idea about that too. I find the Lamzu Atlantis 4K to be more ergonomic for claw than the G303 Shroud Edition. Also, both my GPX and DAV3 have needed disassembly and a solder job for changing the switches and encoder respectively. Curiously, both mice failed just a few months after their warranty expired.
There are some mouse skates that aren't very well leveled, but I think the main brands are within normal tolerances. I remember the german dude TheWhale hyping up the BT.L skates for their consistency, but I can't say I've ever had issues with any brand, other than maybe Tiger Arc 2.
I have 2 gpx mice. One has Tiger Ice skates, the other has corepadz ctrl. I can instantly tell the difference with a blind test and I switch depending on which map (quake) is being played. Tiger ice for the maps that favor tracking weapons and corepadz for the precision/point-n-click weapons. Has he never used a artizan mousepad because he doesnt have an artizan mouse to pair it with? 😁
@@Stallzyx My Hien has pretty much been a game changer for me ngl. I also have Zero, I like both but use the Hien more for the kinda games I play, really fast paced. What I love about it is that it's lasted years and as long as I take care of it, the glide has been pretty consistent and doesn't get muddy for me.

It's funny because mouse skates also wear out and I've changed mine a few times from my 2 mice that I own. It's not like they'll always be at the same height from the mousepad even when they are authentic
Kysona M600 + Razer Strider User and this combo feels better than my Razer Viper Mini on same pad! The aim feels much more responsive I love the budget mice these days!

Got the artisan hein soft from a boardzy recommendation and loving it. I have the viper v2 pro and am thinking about trying glass skates but don’t know how it’ll feel on that mousepad. I also have a razer basilisk ultimate that feels really good on the pad, it’s about twice as heavy as the viper.

Yes your mouse DPI is slightly off if you switch skates / pads w/e.. it’s however proven that you adjust to sensitivity changes within an hour. Also skates/mousepad changes are so ridiculously minimal that you have to be autistic to even notice that. What you do notice is the smooth/glide difference. To add to that Logitech mousepads are absolute dogshit and razerpads are so generic any random rubber based mousepad is exactly the same (and they charge like 4 times the price). I’d rather use an IKEA mousepad. Dumbest take of a ex-professional player ever.
Might be some dpi deviation depending on skate thickness but nothing anyone will notice especially with today's sensors. Also has he heard of calibrating the sensor to a surface? That's a thing, too (granted you need the software running)
Part of being critical on what Shroud is saying is to also keep in mind product development in the past decade. 3rd party skates can cause LOD issues which requires the end user to notice and adjust. Some surfaces have had spinouts and other issues. Shroud's take is that of an average consumer where they want a turnkey solution with 0 issues which you could get by using a full product stack like a Logitech mouse + pad. Their thought process is Logitech would test their own surface, their own skates and everything is designed around that so why modify and they lock that down. Others like probably the crowd in here including myself own 15+ mice and mousepads and we love to test variations and believe a mix of gear leads to the best experience but that takes time and money and isn't turnkey.

Razer Viper V2 pro + Tiger ICE v2 dot skates + Hayate Otsu SOFT XL (Wine Red), my aim, re-adjusting to shots with lower initial friction, mirco flicks, tracking got decently shocking gooood for FPS games. The fact is that shroud stick to one mouse and sens making his muscle memory strong with that particular fixed stuffs so he bothers to change skates etc to ruin his aim / sens etc.
I mean, most PROs know nothing about mice, mousepads, and keyboard, and for sure, and this is the guys who earning money by being better at gaming.
So certainly most streamers have no idea about that too.

Maybe Razer said that because they don't really want to take responsibility of the mouse isn't tracking well on another brand mouse pad, although it is rarely happened. It just to avoid liability.

I find the Lamzu Atlantis 4K to be more ergonomic for claw than the G303 Shroud Edition. Also, both my GPX and DAV3 have needed disassembly and a solder job for changing the switches and encoder respectively. Curiously, both mice failed just a few months after their warranty expired.

There are some mouse skates that aren't very well leveled, but I think the main brands are within normal tolerances. I remember the german dude TheWhale hyping up the BT.L skates for their consistency, but I can't say I've ever had issues with any brand, other than maybe Tiger Arc 2.
as long as you have a modern mouse with a comfy shape and a comfy pad speed it literally does not matter at all its all preference
I have 2 gpx mice. One has Tiger Ice skates, the other has corepadz ctrl. I can instantly tell the difference with a blind test and I switch depending on which map (quake) is being played. Tiger ice for the maps that favor tracking weapons and corepadz for the precision/point-n-click weapons. Has he never used a artizan mousepad because he doesnt have an artizan mouse to pair it with? 😁
everyone raves about the artisan pads but are they genuinely game changing? glorious 3XL does everything for me but I barely play anymore
@@Stallzyx My Hien has pretty much been a game changer for me ngl. I also have Zero, I like both but use the Hien more for the kinda games I play, really fast paced. What I love about it is that it's lasted years and as long as I take care of it, the glide has been pretty consistent and doesn't get muddy for me.

It's funny because mouse skates also wear out and I've changed mine a few times from my 2 mice that I own. It's not like they'll always be at the same height from the mousepad even when they are authentic
Kysona M600 + Razer Strider User and this combo feels better than my Razer Viper Mini on same pad! The aim feels much more responsive I love the budget mice these days!

Got the artisan hein soft from a boardzy recommendation and loving it. I have the viper v2 pro and am thinking about trying glass skates but don’t know how it’ll feel on that mousepad. I also have a razer basilisk ultimate that feels really good on the pad, it’s about twice as heavy as the viper.

Yes your mouse DPI is slightly off if you switch skates / pads w/e.. it’s however proven that you adjust to sensitivity changes within an hour. Also skates/mousepad changes are so ridiculously minimal that you have to be autistic to even notice that. What you do notice is the smooth/glide difference. To add to that Logitech mousepads are absolute dogshit and razerpads are so generic any random rubber based mousepad is exactly the same (and they charge like 4 times the price). I’d rather use an IKEA mousepad. Dumbest take of a ex-professional player ever.

Might be some dpi deviation depending on skate thickness but nothing anyone will notice especially with today's sensors. Also has he heard of calibrating the sensor to a surface? That's a thing, too (granted you need the software running)
Part of being critical on what Shroud is saying is to also keep in mind product development in the past decade. 3rd party skates can cause LOD issues which requires the end user to notice and adjust. Some surfaces have had spinouts and other issues. Shroud's take is that of an average consumer where they want a turnkey solution with 0 issues which you could get by using a full product stack like a Logitech mouse + pad. Their thought process is Logitech would test their own surface, their own skates and everything is designed around that so why modify and they lock that down. Others like probably the crowd in here including myself own 15+ mice and mousepads and we love to test variations and believe a mix of gear leads to the best experience but that takes time and money and isn't turnkey.
