after seeing a few examples on how primates can absolutely fuck someone up, i couldnt really find it in me to laugh at any of these when it was a human - primate interaction.
After what happened to Charla Nash I would never get close to any primate. Only if there's a very thick pane of glass between us. Love them, but only from a distance.
I agree so many people have no idea what a wild animal can do, even tame ones can snap. Its sad to see mine and your comments are like the only ones mentioning it.
It's natural selection. the same people who let the monkeys crawl all over them are probably the same people who would walk up to a deer or buffalo, thinking they're friendly. No sense of self preservation. These things aren't that far removed from us. They solve problems, exploit weaknesses, and are stronger than us. I don't think I'd ever feel comfortable walking around places where they rove in packs. I'm not about to lose my face over a banana.
@@jasonthegreat7999 Yeah my thoughts as well. I came from the streets as I got really lost at one point so I learned how to be safe and I survived being around some really powerful and evil people (who acted like animals) or vice versa lol. Its almost the same thing. Keep your distance, dont look into the eye too long, dont underestimate, have an escape plan, know the environment, dont dangle valuables in front of them etc etc, hold posture and dont be a victim and be aware of what your dealing with. BTW I am sober now!!! People and animals often times forgo morals, decency and respect and some can go from 2 mph to 300mph (in rage or speed) in the blink of an eye. Really scary to see people just wading into situations that could have themselves becoming killed. In fact I myself want to be more aware of people who dont have their dogs muzzled and who look like they dont have a strong enough arm to keep their dog chasing me cuz in the end I hate to say it but I will hurt a dog or any animal or person before it can hurt me, sadly..........and often times animals just do what they do and humans are the savage beast fools. I might be wrong about all this but this is my thinking about it thus far.

After what happened to Charla Nash I would tell the operator my address and say it's an armed robbery with five masked men, three wounded, and two casualties, that way the operator won't ask too many dumb questions and just send a whole SWAT team and ambulance.
Of all times the operator had to do his impression of Sal and Richard's Ethel character from the Howard Stern show way back then, it had to be in a real life and death situation.

Monkeys can get nasty or dangerous pretty fast but I'm still amazed to see how some tourists can be so reckless with them. There's no fun in this video cos it clearly shows why people should avoid to come meet monkeys and more generally wild animals thinking they are just harmless pets, just watch them from afar and better leave them alone.
I've killed a couple that tried going my wife, I tell ya what it gets a reaction but they understand the death of a follow monkey and the rest stay away.

Monkeys have good-sized fangs and know how to use them. We're lucky that there weren't any "No one was harmed" labels on clips of humans getting their faces chewed off.

I think it's partly the uncanny valley since we're closely related to them. Also how strong and vicious they can be. While I'll admit capuchins are cute l hate/fear all primates. Most of all baboons, but that might've been partially influenced by Ren & Stimpy

Yeah. I'm an animal lover, but the monkeys in particular are just dumb enough to be an extreme nuisance, and just smart enough to be extremely effective at it. It would drive me insane.
I recently heard of this thing called "monkey hate" where people like watching videos of them being harmed. Extremely messed up and sick. I wondered how anybody could develop those sorts of feelings, but after watching this, I can see how people could grow to hate them if they deal with them all the time. Not saying this sort of thing is justifiable, because it isn't. It's sickening. But I get how some people could despise them when they have this stuff happen all day every day.
Monkeys are as$holes. They are pure chaos and nobody should approach them more than one meter.

4:45 - Capybaras are semi-aquatic animals and actually spend a lot of their time in water. So this clip isn't a fail, it was already going to jump into the water rather than being pushed, scared or forced into the water by that monkey.
