Collab with a chef that gives them the recipe to one of their previous concoctions and the guys have to make them. We know they would fuck up something anyways.
Right off the bat I'm thinking of Keith and Eugene's birthday cakes... the biggest fuck ups
Dish Granted from Watchers (other former Buzzfeed folks) does something similar to your idea (like very loosely similar), and they just did an episode with Keith :) But I hope someone does your specific idea!!
Can we talk about how Keith used to eat buttered white bread rolled into a ball as a child because if that’s not some of the whitest shit I’ve ever heard 💀🤚🏽

When Uyen showed her batter stuck to the whisk and then it cut to Rome's chunky ass batter I burst out laughing
Part of it was liquid and then those big chunks and when he was commenting on how he might not have enough as if that’s the only problem I was like “THATS what you’re worried about 😂??”
The ominous music really elevated it for me lol

just realised the acronym for Without A Recipe is WAR
don't know if anyone realise but i had a sudden realisation after 1yr+ of watching without a recipe
"You can't have a WAR without WAR" - Sandalphon, Good Omens
@Growth Mindset thanks?
Edit: it didn’t work
But unlike war, we ABSOLUTELY know what this is good for
That’s because Without A Recipe is a war on the judges
Can I just say, the lady making the macarons looked like she really enjoyed the entire process of making them and was proud. It's so wholesome.
It is!

the cut from the 2 Michelin star pastry chef holding her perfect French macaron to Rome spreading his filling across his blue pancake with the back of a spoon was vile
We need a show after the show, where the candidates get a chance to actually make what the idea was, with a chef that knows how to make it. Because that banana pancake sounds DOPE and we need a true macaron version!
Love thisssss!!

“He’s vegan so what if I did half an egg?”
All vegans: *sir-SIR*
He's vegan, so I'll give him half a sausage lol.
He a little confused, but he's got the spirit
it's painfully obvious he looked up the basic recipe of a macron before making it. "i'm gonna use almond flour cause I like nuts, I'm gonna add just the egg white because he's vegan" just glad he dropped it after a bit
Hahahaha
Then they call Ned’s one for Zach Vegan…can we talk about the fact that the cookie is entirely egg white?
It seems Keith is getting a character arc, but at the cost of passing on the Daddy’s Favorite Curse (Daddy Curse) onto Ned, can’t wait to see what comes of that in the next few episodes

Constantly complaining about how Eugene’s creativity and bullshitting gets him the win as well, in hindsight he’s just such a terrible person in hiding

I've always been annoyed by that. He has technical skills, sure, because he already cooked/baked..... But then you KNOW he's the type of person to research the recipe anyway even if its just committing common basics to memory (cookie/cake/brownie/bread bases, etc) bc they are a good base to work from. He claims the rest copy off of him bc technical skill then gets bitchy when he has no ideas. Even his persona spontaneity is based off his wife's favorite foods. @Ana Pie nope ! Lol .. just 2 brothers who each started their own companys ... Im a culinary graduate .. And we were told that in the course
@@kayleepoitras491 they’re even more closely connected in that the Michelin stars were part of a travel guide for restaurants as you drive on your Michelin tires for road trips.
The first Michelin Guide was compiled in 1900 by French industrialist Andre Michelin, along with his brother Edouard Michelin. They wanted to create demand for automobiles…and therefore, the tires they manufactured.
At the time, there were plenty of bicycles, but there were only 300 cars in France. Not enough for a viable business selling automobile tires…the brothers had a profit motive.
The first print of the Michelin Guide was 35,000 copies and included maps, instructions on how to repair and change tires. It also included a list of restaurants, hotels, mechanics and gas stations along popular routes in France.
It was given away for free.
