Dang..I must learn Korean. P.S. I bawled like a baby watching that scene where Yeon-Su confessed to Grandma about her feelings towards ung...
I think YeonSu was saying she felt confident that she could just go on acting like she's fine, ignoring and hiding her feelings for him. But she no longer feels confident about this; she can't pretend that she's not in love with him.
@@hyejin92 Ah...thx for clarifying that... these subtitles are so misleading at times. OBS rated 95% in my book... highest in all my Kdrama experiences. If only the writer of this series didn't bother with the Ji-ung/NJ love triangles BS's... it would then be a perfect score of 100%.
His request to be friends 100% comes out of his fear of abandonment. If they can be friends, in his mind there is less chance of loss, she won't break up with him and leave him again. This of course gives no thought to the question, is she capable of being friends.

About the drama, maybe it's because I'm male but Jin Woung character frustrating me to the max, he is everything I don't want in a friend, I know I sound like I hate him but in reality I just can't take him and his problems seriously. The rest of the drama is very good.

But my frustration doesn't come for that only, the way that he has made himself believed that he tried to to get over her and play the victim is the problem with him, at least for me.
