I love your post. I loved them so much. And i almost didn’t watch because i didn’t like Damia in Itaewon Class. She was too flat. But in this drama she was warmed by Wooshik LOL.
I love how professional Dami and Woo Shik are. I had never seen a pair that was so committed to the scenes that they gave many ideas to bring the character to life in a realistic way and sticking to their essence. That explains why the drama, despite being a simple story, is so attractive: It manages to get to the bottom by conveying real emotions of ordinary people.

Our beloved summer looks cliche at first but the more you watch the more you see that it’s like a deep psychological/emotional analysis of a couple pre/during/post break up AND the scenery AHHHH,the cinematography deserves so much appreciation it’s so much more cinematic than the usual kdrama the color grading and lighting is perfect each setting and time represents a season and ofcourse there are the beautiful OSTs like Drawer by 10cm and Christmas Tree by V of BTS. Overall it’s lovely, comforting and relaxing to watch. it’s simple yet complex & detailed at the same time.
The story is cliche but they made it into something special from the cinematography, to the OST, to the casting, and damn it the insanely great chemistry between the leads.
Tbh I really felt that this was the best K-Drama I've ever watched in my life. It had everything from hate to love to sorrow to happiness. It was so so good that I can't explain it in words. If Choi Wooshik or Kim Dami or Kim Sung-Cheol or the cast or director or writer or songwriter of Our Beloved Summer is reading this then I just want to say that the beginning, the middle and the end was perfect. Everything was and I hope you all do well in other Dramas as well. Tbh my heart is not able to realise that 'Our Beloved Summer' has finished. I just want it to go on and on. It was so good. This is the number 1 kdrama of my lists! Can’t get over this lovestory! Comedy, drama and everything!!! So love the chemistry!!! They are just great actors!!! Theyre honestly my favorite k drama couple pair 😭 the romance genre for me was just so relatable and realistic. Theyre even great actors and their expressions for love in the story was just something you could reflect on. Both of them did a great job in making this story romantic and the feels that make up such chemistry. 😭😭🤍

This show isn't netflix original but Swoon decided to put their making here because obviously the making itself is really swoon-worthy. I mean look at the chemistry between the two actors on and off cam! When the first teaser came out, I thought I'll watch it just for fun but I didn't know I'll be too drawn and too immersed in this drama my goodness. Their onscreen chemistry is soo palpable which makes the viewers emphatize and grow with the characters and the story. Both actors did so well in creating their character together thats why the synergy is very evident in the drama. I'd like to believe that if this drama was portrayed by different actors it wouldn't have the same spark as how Wooshik and Dami did it. Their tandem is just really captivating and perfect uugh 💛💙☀️ Thank you for a wonderful drama and thank you for our beloved couple. Hope to see more of them in the future.
My respect for Kim Da-mi grew so much after watching this. I'll be honest I don't really like her past dramas, but this BTS shows how much of a great actress she is 😭. Everything in OBS is so perfect, I think, just like back in 2016, I'll be having a hard time finding a KDrama that will make me feel the same😭. Kudos to the whole staff💖💖💖💖💖

I just finished this drama today. All I can say is that it is such an amazing drama. I cried and laughed many times. The actors were so professional. Their acting was so natural. Now, this drama will be one of my favorite dramas.

You know what's the best part of the drama their acting feels so realistic and emotions are looking so true, you can see what they feel for each other, their pain of longing for each other and they want to say it but can't, i truly could feel just by seeing their eyes like everything writen in then, like u can read their eyes, i mean no words are needed to express when they were looking at each other and their expression no words are needed, all the cast and specially leads acting were fabulous just greatest 🥰❤️. I really have to say this drama raises the bar of expectations from another dramas even more, this is my one of the favourite drama ever from all time. I really like the character development in this drama. I honestly love how nobody's perfect, how we all make mistakes and lie for our own sake.. Because these things pretty much exist in real life. But I love it even more when Ung and Yeonsu reflected on themselves back and forth, learned from their own mistakes that a relationship can last forever, only if they take time to understand each other's pain and needs. This is my 2022 comfort kdrama. Thank you for everything, our beloved summer. ❤️

I like Kim Da-mi! I saw her first in Itaewon Class, with Park Seo Joon, and I was impressed about her acting, and also about PSJ! But in Our Beloved Summer, with Choi Woo-shik, both were so natural, so good partner, with a nice chemistry!

It's July 2022 almost 6 months since the drama ended but I can't move on from it This is my favourite drama I love the chemistry of everyone in the drama, the storyline, the way the depicted characters 10 years ago and now everything is amazing... I am going to binge watch it again ❤❤❤

My respect for Kim Da-mi grew so much after watching this. I'll be honest I don't really like her past dramas, but this BTS shows how much of a great actress she is 😭. Everything in OBS is so perfect, I think, just like back in 2016, I'll be having a hard time finding a KDrama that will make me feel the same😭. Kudos to the whole staff💖💖💖💖💖
I really like this drama. The chemistry, the cinematography, the OST are chef kiss. Also, I like how it's so natural or in tune they are in their characters. Like truly they are living in that world.

Before OBS…I’m not such a big followers of both…I watched both separately their dramas but haven’t left a big impression on me until NOW…. Just wow, they’ve nailed Ung & Yeonso characters very well! I’ve just recently watched their movie The Witch… and oh boy they were both incredible actors!!! I’m a Woosik & Dami convert now! I’ll be looking forward now any content of them! #OurBelovedSummer is such simple heartwarming & yet unforgettable series … they raised the bar for a fantastic kdrama

I just finished this drama today. All I can say is that it is such an amazing drama. I cried and laughed many times. The actors were so professional. Their acting was so natural. Now, this drama will be one of my favorite dramas.
I cannot unfeel the butterflies in my stomach and my grin from ear to ear 😭 I love the production, the chemistry, the casts so much that I like to cry because I am still not yet over with this show 😭😭😭😭
You know what's the best part of the drama their acting feels so realistic and emotions are looking so true, you can see what they feel for each other, their pain of longing for each other and they want to say it but can't, i truly could feel just by seeing their eyes like everything writen in then, like u can read their eyes, i mean no words are needed to express when they were looking at each other and their expression no words are needed, all the cast and specially leads acting were fabulous just greatest 🥰❤️.
I really have to say this drama raises the bar of expectations from another dramas even more, this is my one of the favourite drama ever from all time.

This is my comfort drama. I love their chemistry so much. I want to see them in another drama too.
I really like the character development in this drama. I honestly love how nobody's perfect, how we all make mistakes and lie for our own sake.. Because these things pretty much exist in real life. But I love it even more when Ung and Yeonsu reflected on themselves back and forth, learned from their own mistakes that a relationship can last forever, only if they take time to understand each other's pain and needs. This is my 2022 comfort kdrama. Thank you for everything, our beloved summer. ❤️

I like Kim Da-mi! I saw her first in Itaewon Class, with Park Seo Joon, and I was impressed about her acting, and also about PSJ! But in Our Beloved Summer, with Choi Woo-shik, both were so natural, so good partner, with a nice chemistry!

It's July 2022 almost 6 months since the drama ended but I can't move on from it This is my favourite drama I love the chemistry of everyone in the drama, the storyline, the way the depicted characters 10 years ago and now everything is amazing... I am going to binge watch it again ❤❤❤
