I lost my mother when I was younger but can remember every bit of our encounters & how love was shining out of her eyes. He was on point with that we will never see or feel this kind of love & this type of woman doesn’t exist, not to stump on this era woman but that’s how life changed all of as & I guess men as well are not the same. Rest in peace my old fella you will always live in my memories with your breath taking humor.
Yeah his 90's stuff isn't good in my opinion, still funnier than 90% of stand up comics (because they all suck). But 2000's onwards, he is THE GREATEST, no question in my mind.
I first saw Norm on Letterman/SNL and some small movie roles like Billy Madison. I was a big fan as a teenager in the 90's. I remember going to see Dirty Work in the theater and even taping that early episode of Family Guy where he played "Death" on VHS. Then I totally lost track of him for like 10+ years, but ended up rediscovering him around 2011 when I came across some clips from his cable sports show. It was weird for me because usually the things I found funny as a teenager don't hold up or aren't as funny to me as an adult, so I really wasn't expecting to be as big of a fan when I came across him the 2nd time... But Norm just got funnier and more skilled as he got older. He's the only stand-up comedian who's career I followed, definitely a legendary dude.
Seriously. Norm ruined comedy for me. When I finally got him it was like every other stand up I used to like didn't even touch his brilliance. In fact most of them seem terrible in comparison. Norm is the greatest stand up there ever was in my opinion. Only comedian who made me smile and not just laugh.
This is the late show, if you want to see the 8PM early show check it out here - th-cam.com/video/Xu1YnGVQJCQ/w-d-xo.html Someone actually sent this to me because they saw me post the 8PM show and they also sent me a different recording of the 8PM show, so that means that multiple people recorded this show and they both sent them to me to archive, I love y'all, it's not me thats archiving this stuff, it's you legends that actually recorded it! Shoutout to all the Norm fans out there, I've never seen a better fanbase for a stand up comic in my life.
Norm, the only comic whose material got even funnier after he passed away. Oh, the hypocrisy! Edit: this is album-grade recording. Norm is clearly heard and is in excellent balance with the audience.
It sounds better here than it did live but that's because some douchebag behind us was obviously high off his balls and his laugh was starting to piss everyone off. Glad you can't hear him on this recording.
God bless when he was "a living legend" he loved "being here" but he was better than all that. we needed smarts people yet others will step into these shoes.
@@bubbyberry I have two shows that aren't anywhere as well. Your channel looks like it might be the place for them. I don't like how other channels try to monetize off norm so much.
I will forever cherish this performance that I was able to see live with some of my best friends in the world. I also should have broken up with the stupid chick I was planning on marrying after she said she liked the opener better... the opener was some cuck dbag trying to make socially relevant jokes that were lamer than Brian Steltzer IRL. I learned a valuable lesson though, and that was to always use Norm's comedy for a litmus test in future relationships.
The guy at the beginning said that Norm had recently written his book Based On A True Story. The book came out in 2016. Is 4 years considered recent for a book or is this not from 2020. Help me out.
Damn. Easy to read into things, but Norm mentioned (jokingly) picking up a catch phrase, and said itd be a waste to be known as a guy who said that thing "for this last little while"
This show was my Christmas present from my wife. I love reliving this show. God bless Norm, may he rest in peace.
amazing christmas gift
I miss this old chunk of coal, thankfully these recordings exist. Norms voice has been soothing me to sleep since he went to the dirt.
I miss him, I watch the Norm show every weekend. Not in the dirt... he is a DIAMOND NOW.
@@karenhynes217 very sweet
Yes. Soothing at bedtime. 68 years old 😂
If only I could see his remains… THEN I could get a good night’s sleep.

When norm talks about his mom it’s soo heartwarming. I feel the same way about my mother. He’s a good son.

I didn’t see him in Cleveland around this time.... I wish I’d went. One of the greats if not the best. My personal favorite.
Norm might have been an old chunk of coal, but these live show videos are all sparkling jewels.
I know his whole act!

@@direct2crain12:52 I've heard countless hours of Norm's performances but this was a new lil joke that I never noticed before just now.

Me too, absolutely true, i LOVE listening to Norm going to sleep 💤
Phenomenal quality!! Thank you for posting!
I am so sad, I almost went to this show!
Twas a great day to be alive and at Hollywood in Columbus, Ohio.
Its great to be here in Hollywood..
I wasnt a huge fan of Norms early stand up but from around 2007 onwards he's up there as one of the greatest ever

When he watched an early show he played at yukyuks on Tom greens podcast and sounds like he'd agree
