I had a RANE Four, and ddj Flx 10 and now a RANE performer. The RANE performer is the best so far.

@DrEricSmithakaDjHawkk345683 Thanks for sharing your experience with the RANE Performer! It's great to hear that you're enjoying it. The RANE series definitely offers some top-notch gear. We'd love to hear more about what you specifically like about the Performer compared to the others you've used. Your insights could be really helpful for others in the DJ community!

I have Rane12s mk2s can I use HiD Mode? Looks like it only has line input for DVS.

"Thanks for your question! First of all thanks for watching the video. Yes, you can use the Rane 12 MK2s in HID mode with the Rane Performer. While the Rane Performer has line inputs, when you use HID mode, the control signals are sent digitally through USB, bypassing the need for traditional line/phono inputs. Just make sure your software is compatible, and you're good to go! If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out. 🎧🎶"

Good morning. When applying the sticker on the platter, is the goal to line the sticker up with one of the
'notches' and, if so, which one? The notch, or white marking, at 12 o'clock or the notch at 2 o'clock? Or does it simply not matter where I place it? Thanks in advance!! I was wondering if those were landmarks one could use when applying the sticker to the platter. Thanks .

Good morning! Great question. When applying the sticker on the platter, it doesn't necessarily need to line up with any specific notch. However, many DJs prefer to use the 12 o'clock position as a reference point for consistency. If you want a visual landmark, aligning it with the notch at 12 o'clock could be helpful, but it's not a requirement. Ultimately, it's up to your preference and what feels most intuitive for you. Thanks for watching and feel free to ask if you have more questions!

For people like me that don't want to get rid of their Rane 12s can you please make a mixer like the Rane72 MK2 with onboard Stems and add Four channel faders so we can do the same stem split just like the Rane performer without going into the touch screen which will makes it a lot easier because if we want to have the most fun with the stems I think it should be a 4-channel with no mapping needed. I hope it's the next thing y'all have in the works. Don't get me wrong I like this controller but I think it's time to add these options for the mixer buyers.

@DjShannimal so far I heard no complaints on the beauty of it I may get one soon but I'd rather have just a mixer with all the options. Thanks for the info.

Great question! The wheels on the Rane Performer are slightly different compared to the Rane One. While both offer a solid feel and performance, the Performer has a more advanced platter with additional features, making it ideal for more complex setups. If you're looking for something simple and portable for those times when you don't want to lug around your 1200 TTs and Rane 62, the Rane One could be enough. But if you want a more versatile setup with some extra capabilities, going full Performer might be worth it. Hope that helps! 😊 MORE INFO ON - www.dj-training-academy.com/post/rane-performer-dj-controller-revolutionizing-dj-control-with-unmatched-features-but-this-rane-perf

Almost amazing. The reason why I did not get this is because 7" is way too small. If they were 10" this would be perfect. 10" is just the right size for scratching/juggles while still maintaining a compact all-in-1 design. All of these new all-in-1s make me feel like a T-Rex because of how small the platters are. If Rane had made this with the Rane Twelve as an all-in-1 that would be incredible. Also the center display is not a scratch area {your hand blocks your view of the WAV} which makes the 7" platter even less. Another issue I have with this almost awesome unit is that you can not simply plug in USB 3.2 drives {my Denon 6000M does} and play off them, you still need a stupid laptop. Rane makes solid gear but not quite perfect. I have the Rane Empath = amazing mixer BUT it does not have coaxial digital inputs.

@@tommygarcia8010 I've been visualizing the perfect set up for years but unfortunately I do not work for any major players. Often people that design gear are not real DJs. Or a company will take what they hear from newbies. What gets my attention is the fact that modern gear is so close to being amazing but just misses the marks. Don't get me wrong though, Rane is one of the best even after the merge.

      @@veganbadass Everything is Digital bro
      your tracks are also digital
      we call it DAW
      if u are real Dj
in this day you have to learn how is digital work? software, file types, pc hardware like this.
      and dont say stupid Laptop.
cos your ur 6000m also having similiar works way " cpu + algorithm"
in EARLY 80's ALL SYNTHs was bigger than car, now all synth in 10 to 1000 mb
it means 32 gb usb stick can have 100 synth
      u got it?

@@BananaBeach519 I know all of that. I think you may have misunderstood my comment. The reason why I say "stupid laptop" is because it's one more piece of equipment that not only costs a $grand but also fails. I've seen DJ's with laptops that crash dozens of times over the years. I wasn't comparing digital vs analog, I was pointing out, if a company wants to make an {all-in-one} unit..... make it perfect. I love Rane gear, but most of the gear that they make that I kinda want is because there is always something very important missing from the design.
