    This is a great look into the reality of an inginuitive mind. How many times did the light bulb fail? Keep trying new things Mitch 😁👍

      Ha! 😂 sometimes it seems like you are going to reinvent the wheel and then you shove a stump bucket through it 😂 your comment is true I am glad you brought that up. Thanks for watching Sam 😁👍🚜💨💡Wow I looked it up it was 1000 times I wonder if that is why TH-cam makes you get 1000 subscribers too.🤔Deep thoughts 💭 by Sam and Mitch 😵‍💫

    Hey Mitch, nice try! Maybe you need to fabricate a part that fits on the end of your stump bucket and is shaped like the piece of a tire machine that is designed to break beads, then find a way to add weight to the front of your tractor? I am just shooting from the hip here! But if anyone could fabricate that part it is you!! Cheers!

      I believe you are on to something. I think that would have been a better video😂 maybe after I regain my confidence I will try what you said. Thanks for watching and have a Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁🍽 😁👍🚜💨🍳

    This was hilarious. I thought the idea was good and I don’t quite understand why it didn’t work. If it’s any comfort, I don’t think you’d get the same amount of effect if you tried removing a tree stump with a tire changer. lol ❤

      Ha! You got a good point. But I think I would watch if someone tried to remove a stump with a tire changer 😂that was funny Edward thanks for watching the video 😁👍🚜💨🦃🍽🍁

    I'm surprised you haven't bypassed that seat safety switch. This was entertaining watching you attempt this with the stump bucket

      I am not the only one who uses it and normally it is not an issue.😁 I thought it would be easier to break the bead 😂 I mean I was thinking about it all day at work and couldn’t wait to try it. Thanks for watching and have a Happy Thanksgiving 😁👍🚜💨🦃🍽

    Hey Mitch. FYI - The low-profile sidewalls and truck tire sidewalls are stiffer / stronger than passenger tire sidewalls. They require more force to break the tire bead than the other tires. I was surprised when you were actually lifting the tractor off the ground as I thought you would have the weight advantage. I would have recommended the 2x4 or similar piece right from the start to avoid the puncture and spread out the force. I was researching a TPMS issue when I came across a vid of a guy putting a scissor jack on top of a piece of wood on top of the tire side wall. He then slid that under his SUV/Crossover. It worked! Maybe you could do the same and use a bottle jack or scissor jack under a raised stump bucket. Or maybe another strong frame such as on your forks. My $0.02 on the topic.

      Great Thanks for sharing that with me 😁I will have to try that next time luckily I the tires were all junk. Sounds like I would have more control too. Thanks for watching the video. I think you’re $0.02 are worth it’s weight in gold 😁👍🚜💨🍳

    You got it done and this is all that matters. Before we got out tyre changing machine we did this with a 4 foot ditching bucket on our mini Excavators

    • @MJADoingStuff
      @MJADoingStuff  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah Joseph 🤔 that was a lot harder than it looks. Sounds like you have the right idea using the Excavator and now tire machine. Thanks for watching 😁👍🚜💨🦃

    Ha ha. You got it done eventually. Make it a little easier on yourself and spray between the rim and tire with warm soapy water. Or even better spray it with ru-glide. It’s the stuff they use at tire shops. Makes it way easier. Cheers, Mike.

    Good video. It's not easy but I've done it with pallet forks and also the bare SSQA adapter on my 'BX. The problem seems to be keeping the rim more or less horizontal and laying on the ground. If you could park a car, atv, trailer (etc) overtop of the opposite side of the wheel you were pushing down on I bet it would work.

    I guess for junk tires it would be fine, but I think I'd pay the money at the tire shop to have a good tire dismounted the right way LOL.
    Maybe try using a grapple next time HAHA!!! Should just be able to pick up the tire and close the grapple around the bead LOL...that would make another entertaining video.

    • @MJADoingStuff
      @MJADoingStuff  ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree it took even longer to get the tires off the rim😂 well worth going to a tire shop. Maybe I should sharpen the grapple first and put the air back into the tires. 😁👍🚜💨🦃🍽🍁

      That is how a lot of things get invented....someone has to try something with a tool not made for the job, which leads to modifying the tool, and pretty soon they've come up with a new invention, sometimes for a very specific purpose, but none the less its how things get done.
