    Thx, really clarifying! I myself love a 1.2 aperture blur but I have come to understand what you are explaining in this video, that it is kind of lazy and an easy way “out”. 👍

    Just bought Sony A7iii yesterday and now found ur channel, amazing content!!
    What lens would you advice me to get for street photography & portrait ?
    Budget is 400$-600$

      if you don’t have one yet, a 50mm is a great place to start and hard to beat for versatility. the “nifty fifty” (usually f/1.8) can do a LOT for about $150-200. also check manufacturers like Sigma and see what their 50mm lineup looks like. could probably get f/1.2 or f/1.4 in your budget from one of them. happy shooting!
