Hopefully after my drones get here after Easter, i can take them out once it gets above 60, and less wind and rain, and no more snow. Im curious, im a former TV-Radio guy MC from the local mall. What Go-Pro are you using for your videos. Its coming out really good and Gr8 editing what editing program are you using? I imagine ur using a go-pro hat setup? Don't see that info in any of your videos. Just post that info and you could start getting residuals Im sure once you contact the suppliers. Glad I found your Videos, tnx again from Western Oregon. I use my GoPro11 and My GoPro8 in Cinematic 4K UHD @30fps, ready for this I edit 100% of my videos on my Note20 ultra using an App I found awhile back called "Film Maker Pro" I also use the GoPro Quik App for my Intros. Never thought about putting what I used in my descriptions great idea I'll have to start doing that! Thanks for this video, very informative. Got a question, after setting up and tapping control, my camera doesn't seem to come on at times, is there a button or something I'm missing? Just going through motions on dining room table, took several snapshots, but sometimes the display goes opaque.
Watched this twice. First time the app kept freezing up on my phone. I did get it to fly but couldn't access camera. Was locked out and display screen was stuck in set-up. Also said no memory card available when I did install one. Uninstalled the app and used the QR code one from the manual. (I think the one direct from the play store may have been different) Followed your suggestions and now everything works great. Thanks for an in depth video.
As long as your flying (taking off) in the same area it's doesn't necessarily have to be done each time you change the battery, I personally do a Gyro & Compass Calibration because both of those Calibrations are What helps the drone fly more stable and ensures that the drone as the most accurate GPS coordinates possible for the RTH (return to home).
Okay I'm having a problem. I am able to go through the pairing and calibration steps with no problem; everything goes as it does in your video. But it won't connect to wifi. My wifi is working as it shows my network as well as a couple of my neighbors'. I have waited up to 5 minutes with no results (the drone turns off after 5). I'm using a Samsung Galasy S20 Ultra 5G and I have Android version 13 ( the manual says 6.0 and above). I have restarted the phone, tried Airplane mode, and no luck. Any advice?
Well I was going to tell you try Airplane Mode but I see you did that already! The only other thing I can suggest would be to turn off or make sure your VPN (virtual private network) is off on your phone or try uninstalling the app and re-install it making sure you allow all the permissions the app asks for!
@HubCityDrones Thanks for getting back so quickly. My VPN is off (never turned on) and I reinstalled the app, making sure all permissions were allowed, and still no luck.

I should also clarify; it's not that it won't hook up to WiFi, it's that my phone doesn't even show it available.
Did you turn the Drone on first and then turn the controller on and then push the left joystick forward and then backwards you will have to do a compass Calibration (short press the center button on the controller) and then wait for the drone to connect to a sufficient number of satellites the app will show "ready to fly" it won't allow you to takeoff until it has a strong satellite signal, if you long press that center button it will take the drone out of GPS mode. Both joysticks down and in will unlock the motors
Hello, I am from Argentina and bought the Ruko F11 mini drone when I have seen this video, but I have a problem. I have a Samsung galaxy S21+ and when I open de apk RUKO and when I try to connect the apk closes and says.... "Sorry, the program is abnormal. The application is collecting logs and ready exists.", I cant use the drone, Someone can help me, please? I have unistalled the apk, then power off the movil phone, after that I power on the movil phone and download again the apk RUKO but when the open apk the problem persists. Thanks for your help!!!!

@gustavopelella8681 the android version should be fine I version 13 and it works, have you tried putting your phone in to airplane mode? Also check your wifi network setting and make sure that your VPN is Off it is on it cause problems, am sure you probably did this but you are selecting yes to All the permissions that pop up when you open the app for the very first.

I’m a year late here, but this drone is not great. For $200+ you can get better. The camera shake was not good - other similarly priced drones at least have digital image stabilization. Definitely toy grade.

Do you have to calibrate every time you go to fly or change battery?
As long as your flying (taking off) in the same area it's doesn't necessarily have to be done each time you change the battery, I personally do a Gyro & Compass Calibration because both of those Calibrations are What helps the drone fly more stable and ensures that the drone as the most accurate GPS coordinates possible for the RTH (return to home).

Not sure why it's not finding you might want to reach out to ruko I believe they have their number in the manual and see what ghey say it could be

Not as easy as you make it…. been trying for hours and still cannot get the remote control to connect to the drone to take off flight

Are you downloading the App from the Google play store? Try this link and see if this works.
