There is just no replacing this theme song. This was the show that introduced me to Spiderman, and this theme song was the first theme I familiarized with when it came to Spiderman...to me, THIS is the classic lol. Man it's just kickass music I love it.

Dude I agree. When I finish with my channel I was gonna work on this, but if want a brilliant mix and match, play the X-Men 90s theme with the Spiderman intro. The music and sound effects from that blend work really well with the spider intro silent.

The new "HISHE" video about "Spider-man 1" combined with the "Noir" universe, finally made me know how I can create a backstory for the Spider-man of my own Marvel universe in which uncle Ben doesn't die (that part always felt too extreme and frankly unnecessary for me). I don't think it's a bad idea. My Marvel universe is suposed to work beyond a mere adaptation. I want it to be something unique. With the Waynes, the deaths are essential, because it represents their legacy carrying on in spirit. With uncle Ben, I don't think we need to go that far.

Also seems to be some contempt for audience. A lot 90's cartoon had hidden methapors and dark subject matter that you would get as kid.
I have the companion book to the 90s Batman Animated Series, and there is a whole section talking about the crap they went through trying to appease the censors. They argued for a long time about guns with real bullets and not GI Joe style lasers. There was even controversy around cartoon characters making fists and hitting someone with them, both objections which were finally allowed by Warner Brothers. But there were other issues, you couldn't hit people in the head for the most part, Bullock wasn't allowed to refer to Harley as a "fruitcake". And that was one of the few shows that was able to successfully push the boundaries. Anyone who remembers the barf inducing live action TMNT show with the tacked on female turtle knows what I mean. Leo's swords might as well have been glued into their scabbards, in fact in most of the "fight scenes" their weapons were so pointless that the only purpose in even having them was so that you could tell the turtles apart. I get wanting to shield kids for harsh realities that they are not ready for, but they in doing these things often created worlds where there were bad guys but no real consequences for anything. And I thought GI Joe was a shameless toy commercial? Most of the kids cartoons I have seen recently are siezure inducing messes where the main characters are actually collecting toys or cards or something in the show.
I only ask Marvel that if they release "Spider-Man '98" they keep the same song composed by Joe Perry of Aerosmith, we miss today those rock and electronic rhythms that were appreciated in the 90s. The visual intro would surely continue to be just as dynamic and epic.

Correction: the DESIGNS doesn't look good and it's true, the theme song is not that great but I still find it catchy for some reasons. But the animation, voice cast and plots are great. Now, I admit it, Ultimate Spider-Man is a major letdown!
