I always enjoy these emergency meetings. The new cream blushes look beautiful, but I don't like very shiny/sticky ones, so I will wait for reviews. I do like the Quad - I know it's more pink, but it looks so pretty. But, I will wait on reviews for that as well.

I think this is a really nice release for Pat McGrath. I love this look today! The Astral White worked so well!! The peachy lip worked great with it and brought it back to spring time. My most exciting new makeup recently was a Suqqu summer collection quad that’s brown and green. It just appealed to me, and I’d never tried the formula. I absolutely love it! It lasts on me all day and blends like a dream. It can do a subtle look or be more impactful. (And when I really want to ramp up my look I add a touch of VR Fire Opal to the center of my lid). If there is a Suqqu color story in the future that I really like, I’d consider getting it. I’d love a Natasha Denona week from you!
A whole week of Natasha would be great! I feel you could even reuse the same palette in a weeks time, if you dont have enough palettes. With so many shades, surely a different look will emerge 💞

I'm super excited about this new Pat release!! I realised I haven't yet bought anything from her this year 😱only added a bronzer and some satin allure lipsticks to my wishlist! I completely passed on the Star Wars collection and the Love colection (at one point I ordered two liquid eyeshadows from cult beauty but they sent me a wrong shade and I ended up sending them both back and have since lost interest), then only wishlisted those items from the satin allure and bronzer releases! I think I will pick up the new eye quad and between one and three blushers upon release 😅 And yes Dior's new "clean" beauty direction sucks so much and I'm completely losing interest in the brand over it 😪 I picked up the remaining quints from my wishlist in the old formula and now I'm done (for now at least)

Honestly, I am really not vibing with the whole clean beauty aesthetic and I don't really like when good products and formulas are being reformulated, which usually ends up with them being worse...I was placing a dior order a few days ago for some limited edition lipstick case so I ordered the Coral blush in the old formula as well. I actually had no idea Pat has a new collection coming out, I had to unsubscribe to her newsletter because it was such a horrible spam. But I am really vibing with that quad... although I know I can dupe it, I have to stay strong:D. The blush sticks are not really calling me because I have oily skin so I just don't jive with stick products usually. Haha you just mentioned Natasha and a few days ago Yucca palette leaked. I LOVE this look! This is probably one of my favorites that you have created!
Clean beauty is a total scam. I’m so annoyed that they are reformulating…especially the foundation. The quad is arriving tomorrow, and the blushes but I guess those are less interesting to you. I will report back asap! I will talk about that palette in the videos this week. I’m am doing a week of ND.
What a great look. Those colors are my jam. I got the Vieve Ninetease palette and Monika Blunder concealer from Space NK with a 20% off coupon. They are both stellar. The Vieve formula is lighter than Pat's formulas and yet still buildable. The colors are perfect for me. I also bought a few Chantecaille luminescent shades and really like those, too. I'm passing on the blushes. I have enough blush to last me the rest of my life.
Oh, I definitely like this look! And your lashes are still looking amazing. :-) I’d like to vote for a week of Natasha Denona because I just recently got the Gold and the Star pallets on a whim. I realized recently that I prefer the layout of her pallets to Pat McGrath’s. Just find it easier for my monkey brain to process the colors in grids. Plus I like to be able to rearrange them. Looking forward to catching up soon. I know I keep saying that. Time goes way faster these days. I think you did everything you could to fix your IG problem. Oh god, you might have to contact Support. 🎪

I was already underwhelmed with the reformulation of the Dior skin correct concealer which was my holy grail. They ruined the formula and shades 😑. I’m on the hunt for a new concealer now. Looks like they are reformulating EVERYTHING.
I've been hearing a lot of criticism about Diors reformulations... one comment that stayed with me, was that luxury brands dont need to get on the 'clean' bandwagon. When one pays a heftier price for a product, you would atleast like to keep it for a while, without it going bad. I also read that the new eyeshadow formulation isnt as good.
@@verrana not always as a rule, but usually with going 'cleaner', they cut out preservatives and parabens from the ingredient deck. That does have a substantial effect on the expiration

Will definitely try them at some point (sale!) but I'm not going to wait impatiently for launch this time... I want a new Mothership instead!!
Waiting for reviews has been my strategy with PML launches since she has changed the formula (except for the bronzers, I jumped on those) and I will say my wallet is happy and I haven’t missed out on any product or regretted my decision. Unfortunately I have been underwhelmed with most of the releases for a long time now. I cherish my older palettes, my blushes and highlights. I hope that the reviews are positive on this launch because I am interested in the coral highlighter and the pink quad! I am looking forward to hearing your opinion so I hope the shipping goes well! Fingers crossed😊.
I still haven’t reached that point with her brand which is good because I wouldn’t know what else to be excited about makeup-wise. Will update on the new collection asap!

I'm very surprised by just how unimpressed I am about this release. I love cream blushes (I almost never wear powder blushes) but I don't know what it is about these products that I don't like ... I find the packaging cheap looking and the shades sort of meh. The eyeshadow quad was always going to be a no. I don't wear that sort of pink shades on my eyes. The brand I'm most excited about currently is Guerlain. I just bought their Terracotta foundation and one of their Rouge G lipsticks and they're amazing. I also have my eye on one of their quads and another lipstick. It terms of the luxury experience nothing really matches to Guerlain currently, imho.
Rouge G is my favorite lipstick. Nothing beats the convenience of that packaging! And the formula is really nice. I hope they will release more colors.
Ohh interesting you’re definitely not the only one who feels that way about the new release. I can totally understand but I am so biased…Pat has clouded my judgement with her adorable persona. Ahh are they so good?? I already have a soft spot for Guerlain because of the quads.
@@mariam.a. I mean ... I still love Pat and can't wait for all the reviews to come in so no judgement from me. 🤣 I'm honestly in love with all the Guerlain products I've picked out. The foundation is very light on the skin but gives medium coverage. It has a mat finish with this almost candle light type glow to it. It's stunning. The lipsticks I picked out were in their mat formula and the formula itself is good but nothing groundbreaking. However, their color selection is freaking amazing. They have some amazing reds. My favourite is Rouge du Tigre. It's similar to Lisa Eldridge's Velvet Dragon (I think that's what it's called) but redder. I understand the mat formula is also similar to Lisa's but I've never tried her lipsticks so I don't know for sure. I also picked up a couple of their lipstick cases and ... It's an experience. That sort of old school, luxury moment of taking out a really beautiful lipstick from your bag and putting it on. It's a vibe, as the kids say these days. 🤣
@@methosimortal The components of their lipsticks are pieces of art that you can pass down the generations. I have never tried their lipsticks though or any other product. I think only the quads. Will keep an eye out in the future.
@@mariam.a. I have very dry lips, and their satin formula doesn't dry out my lips. The packaging is crazy convenient with that mirror to take with you anywhere. It's also very nicely made. (Incidentally, if you're on the lookout for a new perfume, you ought to sample some Guerlain. Originally, they are actually a perfume house. I only tried their lipstick because I love their perfumes. They have lots of great scents, especially in their Classics and L'Art et la Matiere collections. Les Absolus d'Orient is a very cool collection as well. And Shalimar 😍)

I expected more nuanced colours for the blushes and I'm disappointed at what we got. If Phytosurgence can do it, I'm sure that so can PGL. I'll keep using what i own, watch review to understand the formula and hope for another release for an expansion of colours. The quad looked more interesting than those though... I was also interested in Charlotte's face palette but i don't really need it and in these things I'm more of a creature of habit, don't use a different bronzer or highlight (or blush really) every day!
I think the colors are quite fitting for summer, perhaps more colors will follow in the future. I am really curious about the formula…in terms of colors of blush nothing really surprises me anymore. Let’s see about the quad…upon further inspection there seem to be no interesting textures in there.
I'm gna pass for now on the blushes and I'll get the quad when it is released at Sephora. It took a month and a half to finally get my Venusian Sunrise palette so I won't be ordering from her site anytime soon. I'm sure the blushes will be permanent so I'll wait for a 30% off sale later to pick up one or 2. Very pretty look! I need to use that sparkly lavendar shade. For some reason on my skintone it looks more silver than lavendar tho. I'm patiently waiting for another Mothership and yes, also another ND palette. Usually ND releases her spring palette right before the the Spring VIB sale and this year she didn't so I'm wondering when the next ND palette will come.
It means that you have a lot of pink/red in your skin, that's why this shade is more silver on you, than lavender. Lavender is blue + red + white. Red and blue side of this shade blends with your cool pink skin and white/silver is what stands out/left.

Yay, an emergency meeting 😄 Hmmm, so you think that quad contains Rose Fire Nectar types of shades? 🤔 To me, it seems there's one shimmer (Skinshow-like) and two flat metallics jut like the one in Venusian Sunrise. I was going to sit this one out, even though I love the pink packaging. I am also not sure about the color story - wouldn't those make you look as if you cried for hours? 🤔 Very monochromatic, too. Anyways, I'd need to swatch that first. Re: blushes - I don't understand the current trend for creamy and liquid blushes. I am not blessed with skin good enough for a blush with no foundation, so I am sticking to powder formulas. But hey, I am happy all the rosy stuff she was teasing ended up being a pink quad and not a new pink mothership! 😅 For now, I went for the new Clionadh palette instead.
Yeah now that I have seen more reels of it, it doesn’t actually seem like anything is Rose Fire Nectar-like in terms of texture. Bummer. I am curious about the colors so I will get it and find put for myself I guess. Creams and liquids are not for everyone. I started enjoying them as my skin aged and became drier. Everything I have ever tried from Cliondah has not been worth the wait, the hassle or the money but I understand a lot of others love them. I guess everyone has a different experience which is great.
@@mariam.a. My skin is very dry type, and I am your age. I have been testing some samples of liquid blush by RareBeauty - I just don't understand them. They are difficult to apply precisely, and they can move the foundation underneath. I would be very curious to see your review on these new cream blushes and how they are different from powder blush and what the benefits of the balm formula really are when applied on top of foundation (bare skin I can understand). I'd also be curious to see how you apply them (which brushes etc.) if you like them. Clionadh I haven't tried yet at all. I have been wanting to order some singles, but they are constantly out of stock for their magnetic palettes. So when they came out with all-multichrome palette, I decided to go for it. This will be my first experience with indie multichromes like this! Have you tried anything from their Stained Glass collection? I heard that the palette is similar formulations.
@@verrana Hmmm sounds like maybe you are not using the right tools?? I love creams and liquids because they make my skin look juicy and young. There are some really great formulas out there. For liquid blush, nothing beats the Daniel Sandler ones...they literally blur the skin. I am curious about the stick from Pat, I have one from VBB and it is quite lovely too. I use a very dense synthetic brush to apply and sort of tap it on the skin. Never had issues with lifting. I have a few from that collection yes. They are quite lovely, but the shifts on a lot of them end up looking very similar on the eye. However, the price of getting a few of those to Europe equated a PML Mothership...and they are no match for the baked shades. Others feel differently though, so that is just my own take.
@@mariam.a. Maybe. My natural inclination is to apply these types of products with my fingers on bare skin, but my skin needs color correction, so I cannot do that. I tried Rephr 04 and soft synthetic brushes from Sephora Collection. How do you pick the product on the brush so that there's not too much product on it and it's tappable? 🤔 I would put some on my hand and then pick up from there, but it picks up very unevenly on the brush, and always way too much. When I tap I end up with dark spots like freckles on my face, so I have to sheer it out - at which point I mess up the foundation underneath. Applying with fingers moves the foundation as well. Applying with sponge works best for color intensity but is too imprecise, I end up with blush everywhere. Which brush (# / brand) do you use? (All of my brushes work nicely with powder tho. Is the effect worth getting new brushes, especially on top of foundation?) We'll see how it goes for me. At least for me it's a local brand, so no import duties. I have got to try their shadows, I'm so curious!
@@verrana no I don’t think you need special brushes, more like practicing application. I don’t have a specific method, liquids from the back of my hand, stick products either from the stick itself or back of my hand. Even if it applies unevenly I can easily blend with a few tapping motions.
What are the red brushes you’re using, are they Natural hair? I’ve been looking for a nautral hair or natural/synthetic mix lid brush similar to the one you used here, kinda similar to the old Mac 242 before they went and ruined their brushes ..lol

I'm very surprised by just how unimpressed I am about this release. I love cream blushes (I almost never wear powder blushes) but I don't know what it is about these products that I don't like ... I find the packaging cheap looking and the shades sort of meh. The eyeshadow quad was always going to be a no. I don't wear that sort of pink shades on my eyes.
The brand I'm most excited about currently is Guerlain. I just bought their Terracotta foundation and one of their Rouge G lipsticks and they're amazing. I also have my eye on one of their quads and another lipstick. It terms of the luxury experience nothing really matches to Guerlain currently, imho.
Rouge G is my favorite lipstick. Nothing beats the convenience of that packaging! And the formula is really nice. I hope they will release more colors.
Ohh interesting you’re definitely not the only one who feels that way about the new release. I can totally understand but I am so biased…Pat has clouded my judgement with her adorable persona.
Ahh are they so good?? I already have a soft spot for Guerlain because of the quads.

I'm honestly in love with all the Guerlain products I've picked out. The foundation is very light on the skin but gives medium coverage. It has a mat finish with this almost candle light type glow to it. It's stunning.
The lipsticks I picked out were in their mat formula and the formula itself is good but nothing groundbreaking. However, their color selection is freaking amazing. They have some amazing reds. My favourite is Rouge du Tigre. It's similar to Lisa Eldridge's Velvet Dragon (I think that's what it's called) but redder. I understand the mat formula is also similar to Lisa's but I've never tried her lipsticks so I don't know for sure. I also picked up a couple of their lipstick cases and ... It's an experience. That sort of old school, luxury moment of taking out a really beautiful lipstick from your bag and putting it on. It's a vibe, as the kids say these days. 🤣
@@methosimortal The components of their lipsticks are pieces of art that you can pass down the generations. I have never tried their lipsticks though or any other product. I think only the quads. Will keep an eye out in the future.
@@mariam.a. I have very dry lips, and their satin formula doesn't dry out my lips. The packaging is crazy convenient with that mirror to take with you anywhere. It's also very nicely made. (Incidentally, if you're on the lookout for a new perfume, you ought to sample some Guerlain. Originally, they are actually a perfume house. I only tried their lipstick because I love their perfumes. They have lots of great scents, especially in their Classics and L'Art et la Matiere collections. Les Absolus d'Orient is a very cool collection as well. And Shalimar 😍)

I expected more nuanced colours for the blushes and I'm disappointed at what we got. If Phytosurgence can do it, I'm sure that so can PGL. I'll keep using what i own, watch review to understand the formula and hope for another release for an expansion of colours. The quad looked more interesting than those though...
I was also interested in Charlotte's face palette but i don't really need it and in these things I'm more of a creature of habit, don't use a different bronzer or highlight (or blush really) every day!
I think the colors are quite fitting for summer, perhaps more colors will follow in the future. I am really curious about the formula…in terms of colors of blush nothing really surprises me anymore. Let’s see about the quad…upon further inspection there seem to be no interesting textures in there.
I'm gna pass for now on the blushes and I'll get the quad when it is released at Sephora. It took a month and a half to finally get my Venusian Sunrise palette so I won't be ordering from her site anytime soon. I'm sure the blushes will be permanent so I'll wait for a 30% off sale later to pick up one or 2. Very pretty look! I need to use that sparkly lavendar shade. For some reason on my skintone it looks more silver than lavendar tho. I'm patiently waiting for another Mothership and yes, also another ND palette. Usually ND releases her spring palette right before the the Spring VIB sale and this year she didn't so I'm wondering when the next ND palette will come.
It means that you have a lot of pink/red in your skin, that's why this shade is more silver on you, than lavender. Lavender is blue + red + white. Red and blue side of this shade blends with your cool pink skin and white/silver is what stands out/left.
That makes total sense.

@Mariam A. oh yes I just saw it!! Definitely Italy will be picking that up. I have saved my ulta points and will be able to pick it up for free. And hopefully I have enough points left over to pick up the new ABH palette too.
Passing on the whole collection, don't do cream blush and don't need any more pink eye shadow 😂

Yay, an emergency meeting 😄 Hmmm, so you think that quad contains Rose Fire Nectar types of shades? 🤔 To me, it seems there's one shimmer (Skinshow-like) and two flat metallics jut like the one in Venusian Sunrise. I was going to sit this one out, even though I love the pink packaging. I am also not sure about the color story - wouldn't those make you look as if you cried for hours? 🤔 Very monochromatic, too. Anyways, I'd need to swatch that first. Re: blushes - I don't understand the current trend for creamy and liquid blushes. I am not blessed with skin good enough for a blush with no foundation, so I am sticking to powder formulas. But hey, I am happy all the rosy stuff she was teasing ended up being a pink quad and not a new pink mothership! 😅 For now, I went for the new Clionadh palette instead.
Yeah now that I have seen more reels of it, it doesn’t actually seem like anything is Rose Fire Nectar-like in terms of texture. Bummer. I am curious about the colors so I will get it and find put for myself I guess. Creams and liquids are not for everyone. I started enjoying them as my skin aged and became drier.
Everything I have ever tried from Cliondah has not been worth the wait, the hassle or the money but I understand a lot of others love them. I guess everyone has a different experience which is great.
@@mariam.a. My skin is very dry type, and I am your age. I have been testing some samples of liquid blush by RareBeauty - I just don't understand them. They are difficult to apply precisely, and they can move the foundation underneath. I would be very curious to see your review on these new cream blushes and how they are different from powder blush and what the benefits of the balm formula really are when applied on top of foundation (bare skin I can understand). I'd also be curious to see how you apply them (which brushes etc.) if you like them.
Clionadh I haven't tried yet at all. I have been wanting to order some singles, but they are constantly out of stock for their magnetic palettes. So when they came out with all-multichrome palette, I decided to go for it. This will be my first experience with indie multichromes like this! Have you tried anything from their Stained Glass collection? I heard that the palette is similar formulations.
@@verrana Hmmm sounds like maybe you are not using the right tools?? I love creams and liquids because they make my skin look juicy and young. There are some really great formulas out there. For liquid blush, nothing beats the Daniel Sandler ones...they literally blur the skin. I am curious about the stick from Pat, I have one from VBB and it is quite lovely too. I use a very dense synthetic brush to apply and sort of tap it on the skin. Never had issues with lifting.
I have a few from that collection yes. They are quite lovely, but the shifts on a lot of them end up looking very similar on the eye. However, the price of getting a few of those to Europe equated a PML Mothership...and they are no match for the baked shades. Others feel differently though, so that is just my own take.
@@mariam.a. Maybe. My natural inclination is to apply these types of products with my fingers on bare skin, but my skin needs color correction, so I cannot do that. I tried Rephr 04 and soft synthetic brushes from Sephora Collection. How do you pick the product on the brush so that there's not too much product on it and it's tappable? 🤔 I would put some on my hand and then pick up from there, but it picks up very unevenly on the brush, and always way too much. When I tap I end up with dark spots like freckles on my face, so I have to sheer it out - at which point I mess up the foundation underneath. Applying with fingers moves the foundation as well. Applying with sponge works best for color intensity but is too imprecise, I end up with blush everywhere. Which brush (# / brand) do you use? (All of my brushes work nicely with powder tho. Is the effect worth getting new brushes, especially on top of foundation?)
We'll see how it goes for me. At least for me it's a local brand, so no import duties. I have got to try their shadows, I'm so curious!
@@verrana no I don’t think you need special brushes, more like practicing application. I don’t have a specific method, liquids from the back of my hand, stick products either from the stick itself or back of my hand. Even if it applies unevenly I can easily blend with a few tapping motions.
What are the red brushes you’re using, are they Natural hair? I’ve been looking for a nautral hair or natural/synthetic mix lid brush similar to the one you used here, kinda similar to the old Mac 242 before they went and ruined their brushes ..lol

They are from M Brush by Maxineczka which I buy from minitshop. They are fude. I have quite a few and I enjoy them.
