Big Chungus pulls off the fungus look pretty well I’d say. As for the SM57, I’d say it’s pretty underrated for podcasting applications. With a good pop filter, it’s every bit as good as the SM7B for a fraction of the price and a bit more lively sound profile. As a musician, it’s definitely earned its legendary status, especially on guitar cabs. It really nails that mid range for those uses.
