Iso Tae was def listening, I think its just his natural response to criticism more like a habit. When they told him to slow down and take his time he did that and that's how he was getting those tough shots off. Amazing game regardless both are great players.

I barely comment on videos but I have to for this one. I jumped off my couch several times. This was great basketball and great coaching. I love the interactions from Beasley and chalmers. This is now carrying a lot of emotion and storytelling. This is incredible

He’s obviously a lot more intelligent about basketball than everyone, but you just gotta let some players cook after you gave them your piece and other players might require more positive reinforcement. He’s great at it, but it may be off-putting to some players, especially given that everyone on this platform are grown men.
No question about it. Beasley telling them to be quiet is just wrong. You should always hype your teammates up and give them energy. He actually made this very awkward.

I know Beasley’s coaching style isn’t for everyone and some say he was killing the vibe but it sucks that Tae didn’t win because I know that THEN Beasley would have wanted his teammates to swarm the court and show emotion which would have been a great thing to see. Honest question... Did you play beyond high school?? I had a high school coach like this too😂 But when I got to college I realized that type of discipline and fundamentals I got from my old coach was NEEDED cuz after that, nobody got TIME to teach you that stuff. So if you miss it early, you just miss it entirely usually.

I know Beasley’s coaching style isn’t for everyone and some say he was killing the vibe but it sucks that Tae didn’t win because I know that THEN Beasley would have wanted his teammates to swarm the court and show emotion which would have been a great thing to see. And I personally didn’t care who won this game. I just wanted a good one and it was amazing!!

Honest question... Did you play beyond high school?? I had a high school coach like this too😂 But when I got to college I realized that type of discipline and fundamentals I got from my old coach was NEEDED cuz after that, nobody got TIME to teach you that stuff. So if you miss it early, you just miss it entirely usually.
