Hey Xtian! I checked your most recent music video and I loved it. Super high quality production! Subscribed and looking forward to seeing what you can do with a BMPCC4K!
Great camera, beautiful footage from it, but god I barely use the thing. My g9 gets way more use due to the ibis, flip screen, size, etc. Sad actually. The pocket 4k seems much more interesting if you are using it for jobs. You really need the gimbals, sliders, tripods, etc for the thing. For handheld it is fine for narrative or music video type stuff, travel too (this is assuming your lenses don't have any stabilization), but it's not very good for handheld b-roll footage like one would use in say a commercial advert for small products. I'm waiting to get a new tripod, sliders, wheels, etc for it to see if I can make more use of it shooting in my small studio. But currently it's just too unwieldly to shoot the type of videos I want to shoot handheld. It's a camera that works much better in a well planned out shooting scenario
Recently upgraded to the BMPCC4K from Panasonic AF100 I've used for 2 features and a dozen shorts. Mine eyes have seen the glory of a brand new world :-)
The power of professional cinema unlocked! :D It's really incredible that Blackmagic offers a camera like this at an affordable price when other cinema cameras cost thousands
Super helpful video! Thank you. I currently own a gh5 and I’m finally looking into the pocket 4k. Would love to watch a video on your color grade matching process between the gh5 and pocket 4k!
I'm looking at purchasing either a GH5 or a BMPCC4k and I'm torn. It seems that a GH5 is ready to shoot with out of the box whereas a cage and some other accessories are a must with the BMPCC4k. I'm a G85 user at the moment and have invested in some solid lenses and a speedbooster. So it is time for a body upgrade as my video business is starting to take on some higher paying projects. If you had to chose between the two and could only have one, what are you choosing??
It's just as you say. BMPCC4K needs way more accessories and it has a bit of a learning curve. I use my BMPCC4K as my A cam when doing client work but I always end up using my GH5 for handheld B shots because the in body stabilization is incredible. The G85 has in body stabilization too so maybe you could consider getting on the BMPCC4K - but the GH5 is no slouch and I still pick it over the BMPCC4K when doing run-n-gun and travel videos which I have been doing a lot of on my youtube lately. This is all to say, whichever you choose, you won't be disappointed!
@@JonBear Thanks for the reply! Your video was very helpful, I think I'm going to Grab a BMPCC4K for the time being and then maybe look for a good deal on a used GH5 when the time is right for a B camera and for the smaller projects, as the g85 is still a great little camera for me!
This is an amazing video! You should do more camera gear reviews. Love these videos! Another idea could be teaching us your photography skills! Also, congrats on 3k subscribers. I can see you as an influencer in the future! Keep up the good work!!!

That's awesome! Same here man I had been thinking of getting one for a long time. Appreciate the support brother. I will definitely make more content about it as I gain experience on shoots.
Hello sir, i have some questions... since the BMPCC4K Is quite affordable here in Indonesia, do you think the P4K will be good to use as a main studio camera for youtube? What lense should i get? Is it too complicated for one man army? or do i need an assistant to pull the focus of this camera? I always aim to get the cinematic look in a video and i love how cheap the P4K for what it is, compared to you know the $4000 Sony a7S3 Thanks for the video, very helpfull
BMPCC4K will get you incredible results but it takes work. If you plan to use it MAINLY for TH-cam then I would instead get some hybrid camera that has autofocus as it will make filming yourself so much easier. If however you plan on using it for client shoots or passion projects mainly then it is one of the best cameras. As long as you are behind the camera, it is amazing. It gets difficult as soon as you are in front of the camera. As for price, the BMPCC4k needs so much extra stuff that you will end up spending a lot more. Cage, monitor, ssd, batteries, etc.
Excellent video. I had no idea that BRAW was so easy to edit and so versatile. WOW!! Black Magic is waay ahead. Oh, and I matched Nikon 5600 footage with GH5 footage. Dont ask me how I did it? Even I dont know..LOL
Would you rather have an extra stop of light or a sensor that handles light (noise) better? The 6k will handle it better. I have a 4k so I'm not biased. And the Viltrox degrades the image more than the Metabones, you should have opted for that for professional shoots.
Now that the 6k pro is out I'm considering getting one along with the p4k. Your points are 100 percent correct. But from the comparisons I have seen, the viltrox is very close to the netabones optically. The cheaper price tag makes the viltrox a very fair deal
Well.... you’re not gonna get jobs by using your laptop web camera, so it _does_ somewhat matter what camera you have. Between the BMpCC 4K and 6K, I don’t think it matters much, though.
Thank you for this! BMPCC4K’s been on my list for a while, big jump up from my G85 which is a solid camera on it’s own but really like that I can use my M4T lenses.
@@JonBear Hey Jon Bear. Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate your channel's content. Hey John, I was wondering if you have any tips for using the bmpcc 4k and 6k for TH-cam videos, e.g., how are you pulling focus, does the focus hold, or do you go out of focus ever, some details on that would be really helpful.
Great question! I've filmed a few TH-cam videos with the BMPCC4K but I honestly opt for using my GH5 for most talking head videos now instead. The reason is like you mentioned, pulling focus is a hassle. I would have to have a long HDMI cord with the monitor close to me so I could see if I was in focus. Then making focus would be trial and error. This process made sitting down and just recording a hassle. On Top of that, the filesizes are massive. For one TH-cam video I may sit there and talk for 20 min plus and edit it down to 8 min. but that 20min file is huuuge. I know you can lower you bmpcc 4k bitrate but it's still significantly larger than the files coming out of the GH5. But if using a bmpcc is the best thing you got, then go for it! The resulting video will look great. Also if you use manual focus lenses you can save a ton of time by Pulling focus just once, then taking note of where you are in focus. Then make sure you mount the camera on the same spot each time and sit in the same distance. For Sound I prefer wireless lav mics like Rode
Hey Jon! Great video and your recommendations inspired me to get a pocket 4K with the vilatrox and sigma lens. My question though is that my vilatrox lens is quite blurry even after I adjusted the glass element. I can’t seem to get infinity focus out of it. Any recommendations? Should I return my current vilatrox and exchange my current one in case that it’s just faulty?
If you've tried rotating it and still cannot get infinity then it may be faulty. But how blurry is it exactly? have you tried other lenses on the BMPCC4K? If it is slightly more blurry than a regular mirrorless then that is normal, the BMPCC4K gives you a raw file without sharpening applied.
@@JonBear thanks so much for replying! You’re the best. It is just the SLIGHTEST BIT blurry. It’s specifically when I’m on the 18mm that it won’t quite reach infinity focus. When I digitally zoom in on the LCD screen is when I can really tell that the sharpness isn’t there. I’m clearly a novice, so is it that the speed booster is defective? Or that’s normal and that can be fixed in post? I would just prefer to get it right in camera so then there’s little work to do in post. Thank you again!
Great video!! I have the same setup (P4K & GH5), and my biggest problem has almost been trying to match the colors. Would love a little more in depth explanation on how I can use the LUTS to each camera. Thanks!
Hey man, I'm new here in your channel. Just watched this video and now I'm part of your gang! Thank you very much for all the advice! I've been looking for a camera and from all the cameras I saw, there is one thing that called my attention; the image quality that the bmpcc offers!!! I totally agree with you about everything you say in here. I'm just worry a little about the AF, but I guess there is always a way. I currently have the canon EOS R and two lenses (RF 15-35mm f2.8 and the EF nifty 50), but I'm definitely thinking about making the jump. Thanks again!
Thank you for your comment Ruben. I watched your short film The 5 Cylinders of the Human Machine. Very well made! Subscribed as well! You are using the EOS R, what do you feel this camera lacks? Is it the color grading and BRAW format of the Pocket 4k that attracts you?
@@JonBear well, first it’s only 8 bits internally, so dynamic range, not good in low light. In 4K you can only film up to 30 fps, and it had a huge crop in 4K. I used to film in 1080p but then I bout the new iMac (5K) and I see the difference, so I moved to 4K but not even 60p in 4K so I was disappointed. But I’d say the biggest thing is that when I saw the image quality of the bmpcc I was completely in love with it. I know it has problems with AF but I use a lot manual focus and there’ll be a workaround. Hope I was clear..., I just opened my eyes 😄👍
Mate, good video, I am getting the 4 k in 2021. Would the colors of the Black Magic 4k match with the colors of the Lumix G9 for editing on Davinci ? New sub here :)
Nice video! But you explain why you buy a bmpcc 4k because you have a second camera with the same sensor!! so, if i dont have a second camera is this a value for money option instead of a7siii?
You are right yes. However I still think there is a lot of value in having a Blackmagic 4k - with one caveat: You're planning on shooting video professionally. The Blackmagic 4k is cheap, but yes it needs a ton of accessories like cage, external ssd, gimbal, and battery. Extra stuff that will cost you money. A7siii will be a great tool for excellent stabilized video, impeccable autofocus, fantastic low light, and fantastic photos. But if you're going to film professionally you would probably get all the accessories too. So for the price of one A7siii with quality lens, you could get 2 blackmagics with quality glass and accessories. For professional video the choice is obvious for me, but if you're going to shoot photos too and you need that amazing autofocus (and you got enough money) then the A7siii would be a better choice.
Very similar to me. The 4k is my a with the gh4 as my b cam. I can't be dealing with that stabilisation. They're such great cameras to mix together, it's almost like panny worked with blackmagic to have them be cousins.
Hey bro, Let's say most of my stuff is for TH-cam (but i sometimes do commercials or professional work), what are the best settings on thr BMPCC 4K? Does it take that much storage? Would you recommend it? Take in mind that i want to shoot and render at 4K DCI at 60fps most of the time (although i may shoot 2.6K120 and 4K75 sometimes to slow it down), dont ask me why, i just love how it looks that way, just curiosity, still cant afford that lol (and my PC wouldnt handle it)
Thanks for the question! Bmpcc4k takes a ton of storage but there are some settings you can use to use to keep it more manageable. I find that setting it to Constant Quality -> Q5 is a good balance. I wouldn't shoot 60 unless it's for slowmo. Stick to 24,25,30 for realtime shots otherwise you're wasting storage for no reason and 24 fps just looks better. Check out my slowmo video to see what I mean
But i like 60fps far more, i like the smooth look of it, 1/60 at 60fps looks great for me, 24 has its place but i just prefer 60 you know. and 30 just looks like mobile footage to me
@@SantiagoMonroy5 Yeah bro I get you. I got a friend who also prefers it. I agree it has a more modern HD and clean look which totally looks sweet. Different preferences
I bought one and completely rigged it out. Very quirky camera but goddamn I love it. seeing the BMPCC6k Pro drop today too! But the BMPCC4k is perfect right now for me
I'm conflicted. I have a Gh5 and love it but now its hard. I find myself leaning more towards filmmaker than being a hybrid shooter. But is it worth me switching over. I don't know. Any advice?
You're asking the right person :) I own both and I still use both a ton. The GH5 is incredible. The stabilization is next level and it matches my Pocket 4K so well. I match them with luts from emotivecolor.com, I shoot with the GH5 in HLG. So if you are buying the pocket4k, I would consider it as an additional camera. I would NOT sell the GH5 to get the pocket 4k however. If you already have the GH5 then stick with it. It's an insanely good filmmaking camera :) Feel free to ask me anything brother
Thanks for the question 👍What's your experience with filmmaking? Short answer is: GH5 if you want simplicity. Blackmagic if you are ready to double down on filmmaking. The Blackmagic requires a lot to get running efficiently. External battery, external ssd, also its wonky to use handheld. No stabilization. So you'll need to rig it up on tripod, gimbal etc which brings more stuff that you need to buy. GH5 however, you can pick up and go. Internal battery lasts a long time. It's smaller and easier to hold. Stabilization is next level. My Cappadocia video is shot on it and also all the shots in my demo reel are shot on GH5 The Blackmagic is a powerful tool but it might turn you off if you're not already experienced with filmmaking. But if you manage to get a good handle on it, it's gonna deliver high production footage. Hope that helps!
Sup! You can use regular adaptors :) Just search EF to M43. They are much cheaper. However I recommend the one that viltrox makes if you want to be able to control the aperture in camera: amzn.to/3tgJxKR But you can also get cheaper ones where you will need to control the aperture manually. Not recommended since many lenses don't have aperture rings Finally, you could just get a pocket 6k instead, which has an EF mount so no adapter needed
No stabilization is a huge bummer, but it is standard for cinema cameras make no mistake. They're meant to be modular and you rig them up. This is no TH-camr camera. This is a Filmmaking tool. For TH-cam and personal use I go with my GH5 camera, specifically because it has the best stabilization on the market
well said ! thanks ! my bmpcc4k just arrived and my reasons to buy it were similar to yours. I am not sure though how you cope with out stabilization when using the sigma and i am not sure if you are happy with the quality loss due to viltrox... instead of metabones? I ordered the pana nocricton 42.5mm f1.2 but i am not sure what to buy regarding wider angle lenses . Olympus 25mm or 17mm f1.2 is it good enough without IOS if only use a gimbal ??? I own a sony a6600 (+ 16mm f1.4 sigma +56mm f1.4 sigma)
Thank you Nikolaos. - Regarding the quality loss with viltrox: It's considered slightly softer but only by a hair. Many comparisons yield very little difference. Due to the massive price difference I decided the viltrox is fine. Most of my professional work and youtube videos are shot with this speedbooster and I have never thought it wasn't sharp enough. - Regarding wider angles, I am a huge fan of the Olympus 17mm f1.8. I might make a review on it. This lens has is *_fast_***, has a manual focus clutch with *hard stops* making it absolutely banger! The autofocus on it is also fast when I use it on my GH5. 17mm on a m43 sensor is not crazy wide - and still feels cinematic - while a 25mm is a little tight on a blackmagic - Regarding stabilization, I use the Blackmagic for tripod shots or on a shoulder mount. I still keep my GH5 with it's god-like stabilization for situations where I need it. There are tons of people who run blackmagic on gimbals though! Thanks bro!
Yes it does I made a video about it since it's a little complicated to get it to work. But when it works, it works th-cam.com/video/_GeIyRApwnc/w-d-xo.html The video is a bit old so there may be a new firmware that works better!
I have a lot to learn here so sorry if this is a silly question, but can someone help help me understand the value proposition of the speed booster? It's so expensive that wouldn't it be more economical to just buy the pocket 6k in the first place? [edit] to clarify, I'm talking about metabones speed booster
That would be incredible! A new rig happens to be next on my list of things I need to upgrade. Appreciate it brother, I'll work hard to make it happen!
Thank you! With Blackmagic it's hard to say. They tend to announce new cameras and then release them very suddenly. However they always include older cameras with their new software updates so the BMPCC4K has been getting beefier and more optimized with time.
@@JonBearThank you! Nice to hear! The only thing that's holding me back is that they could announce a camera with a little better rolling shutter in that price range but i guess i am just a little picky. I guess i will get the pocket 4k haha :)
@@INSTINCT777 I get you :) I don't expect them to announce any new camera soon since they have just announced the Ursa 12k. In any case I am 100% sure you'd get good use out of your pocket 4k
@@kristaylor7119 I use the GH5, they just released a version 2 of that. amzn.to/3zSvduI What it has over the bmpcc4k is the 5 axis stabilization, flip out screen and continuous autofocus. It also runs super long on the regular batteries and records well on a fast SD card so it's much easier to pick up and go. I match my GH5 to my bmpcc4k all the time and people can't tell the difference. What bmpcc4k has is the BRAW file format. But you need to rig it out to use it - external battery, ssd, and it isn't stabilized. GH5 is just pick up and go Finally I color my footage using luts from emotivecolor.com to match the cameras perfectly good luck!
I have not tried it. But with the viltrox speedbooster it will become a fast f2.0 lens. The zoom range is really fantastic. It's a great lens. I would say it's the budget version of the sigma 24-70 lens (more than twice as expensive). Go for the 17-50 and let me know how it works!
How do you get that npf battery adapter to work? I got one and my battery is fully charged and everything looks good (I know it's charged because my npf has a small display on it) BUT the issue comes in as SOON AS I plug the 12 Volt power cable into the adapter. (The weipu connection doesn't even have to be plugged into the camera. Just as soon as I plug that 12 Volt power cable into the battery plate, the battery instantly just bricks and does absolutely nothing. It takes me putting it on a charger for the battery to start showing it has full charge again... Rinse and repeat. I am at a lose for what could be going wrong. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
I hope you are around by then! I'll create the 2050 version of this video where I compare the Bmpcc4k to the invisible hovering 360 cameras everyone will use to vlog
Tbh if you going down the route of P4k you HAVE to RIG it out don't cheap yourself either you already gonna drop 1.3k for the P4k plus let's say other 2k for rigging it out..yeah I didn't think so either until I start buying and needing shit ..plus the lenses PLEASE READ about that I suggest mieke cine lenses if you don't want a converter. But i brought a other should be here soon...and if you like me upgrading to new PC to enjoy the editing and color grading. Yeah people think editing 4k raw footage on a shifty PC or Mac its not. BUT yeah I love the P4K..if you strictly into videos and movie making P4K
6K is an EF camera. Unless you know of some speedbooster that adapts Larger lenses to EF? Which still seems counterintuitive to me since larger sensor lenses are just more expensive, why bother when I can get these stellar results on the Pocket 4k for far less money
Uh, Bro? The Panasonic is a great camera but LACKS AUTOFOCUS!!! and it has never been addressed by Panasonic which SUCKS because I really liked/wanted to purchase it.
ahaha you could say that. However you can currently get two p4k for the price of one 6kpro. Could you link the speedbooster that you use on the 6k? Never heard of a EF-EF speedbooster

@@JonBear also, yes I have a 28-80mm lens that I tried and it honestly looked pretty decent. The “haze” was less noticeable there.
Great video!! I have the same setup (P4K & GH5), and my biggest problem has almost been trying to match the colors. Would love a little more in depth explanation on how I can use the LUTS to each camera. Thanks!
Hey! sorry for the late reply. I use the color system by emotivecolor.com
Get Same camera sell the other one
Cheaper to buy the 6k if you are going to use the metabones?
Yeah. However if you get the 6k, opt for the newly announced pocket 6k pro!
Much better for paid work than I expected. I use it as a B-cam to my GH5, and it's menu makes it a breeze to shoot with.
100% agree. The menu is definitely one of the highlights
Do you know any match color tool for a7iii and bmpcc4k? Thank you
What are the settings of your computer?
Sub'd, great summary of reasons.
Welcome aboard! Glad you found it helpful
Very similar to me. The 4k is my a with the gh4 as my b cam. I can't be dealing with that stabilisation. They're such great cameras to mix together, it's almost like panny worked with blackmagic to have them be cousins.
great video man, i just bought one
I’m so glad I bought two 4K cameras like wow I really made a great investment
Nice! yes having 2 cameras is huge. I do 2 camera setup interviews all the time and make easily $1k per shoot
But the BMPCC4k is perfect right now for me
Nice!! Yeah I would probably get another Pocket 4K before getting a 6k Pro honestly.
@@JonBear I'd have to agree with you right now. Some Rokinon EF cine glass (few differences from the Xeen lineup) with that Viltrox is godly.
1.2 is fot the mft sensor. It is still a 1.8 lens. Technically same DOF and same light.
Appreciate it bro. We're talking in terms of M43 sensors so it's fair game to say 1.2 since that's what the display on the blackmagic and the GH5 says
The A7s3 have 4K/120fps. Do you miss it on the BMPCC4K ?
I don't shoot slowmotion a ton, but if I do, 60fps 4k is usually enough. If I need 120fps, then doing it in 1080p is enough for me.
Good info, thanks!
Thanks for the comment! 🙏
Jon b im still stick on which one to get between gh5 v black magic for music video purposes whats better
My Cappadocia video is shot on it and also all the shots in my demo reel are shot on GH5
The Blackmagic is a powerful tool but it might turn you off if you're not already experienced with filmmaking. But if you manage to get a good handle on it, it's gonna deliver high production footage.
Hope that helps!
What do you use to stabilize the bmpcc 4K?
I made a video on that! I use stabilized lenses th-cam.com/video/_GeIyRApwnc/w-d-xo.html
@@JonBear thanks!
I want to use it with a sirui anamorphic, but I also love the speedboater :(
Speedboosters are so awesome! I can relate. This is why I didn't get any sirui anamorphic yet
sup man so in terms of lenses, i can't use an ef lens without a speed booster? if so do you know of any lenses i can use without one?
Sup! You can use regular adaptors :) Just search EF to M43. They are much cheaper. However I recommend the one that viltrox makes if you want to be able to control the aperture in camera: amzn.to/3tgJxKR
But you can also get cheaper ones where you will need to control the aperture manually. Not recommended since many lenses don't have aperture rings
Finally, you could just get a pocket 6k instead, which has an EF mount so no adapter needed
@@JonBear sounds great thanks for that ✊
What about stabilization? A camera like the a7iiis has stabilization and this one doesn't. Is that too noticeable, do you use that camera outside?
No stabilization is a huge bummer, but it is standard for cinema cameras make no mistake. They're meant to be modular and you rig them up. This is no TH-camr camera. This is a Filmmaking tool.
For TH-cam and personal use I go with my GH5 camera, specifically because it has the best stabilization on the market
thanks, you helped me to finally make a lens decision
well said ! thanks ! my bmpcc4k just arrived and my reasons to buy it were similar to yours.
The autofocus on it is also fast when I use it on my GH5. 17mm on a m43 sensor is not crazy wide - and still feels cinematic - while a 25mm is a little tight on a blackmagic
- Regarding stabilization, I use the Blackmagic for tripod shots or on a shoulder mount. I still keep my GH5 with it's god-like stabilization for situations where I need it. There are tons of people who run blackmagic on gimbals though!
Thanks bro!
good review! I'll can use better thanks to your video.
I am very happy to hear this! Good luck!
Can someone please tell
Me do you have to use a speed booster or can you go without it
Hi bro nice video ... Did you get the code for resolve 17 also with it. Thanks in advance
Yes the activation code is valid for any version of Resolve :)! I bought mine used but I think you get two codes per camera.
Big thanks bro help a lot 🤜🏽🤛🏽
hallo!does this sppedbooster supports stabilization of canon ef lenses like metabones does?thanks
Yes it does I made a video about it since it's a little complicated to get it to work. But when it works, it works th-cam.com/video/_GeIyRApwnc/w-d-xo.html
The video is a bit old so there may be a new firmware that works better!
@@JonBear thanks for your time!!
I have a lot to learn here so sorry if this is a silly question, but can someone help help me understand the value proposition of the speed booster? It's so expensive that wouldn't it be more economical to just buy the pocket 6k in the first place?
[edit] to clarify, I'm talking about metabones speed booster
So I was on an out door shoot yesterday for the first time with my sigma 18-35 leans viltrox speed booster and It would only go to f11 this normal?
BRAAAAWWWWWWWW!!!!! 💯
BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW! 😎😎
2021 better sponsor Jon to get a Blackmagic editing rig.
That would be incredible! A new rig happens to be next on my list of things I need to upgrade. Appreciate it brother, I'll work hard to make it happen!
Nice :3 do you expect blackmagic to drop a new camera in the same segment soon or do you think this is it for the next few years? :)
@@JonBear that's true! :) For shure! Thank you!
What do you do as an lone creator with no flip out screen. How do you frame yourself easily?
External monitor is a must. But because of this I do not like to use the bmpcc4k to film myself. It's the best when operated to film someone else.
@@JonBear what other camera would you say closely matches the 4K in price and video quality?
@@kristaylor7119 I use the GH5, they just released a version 2 of that. amzn.to/3zSvduI
What it has over the bmpcc4k is the 5 axis stabilization, flip out screen and continuous autofocus.
GH5 is just pick up and go
Finally I color my footage using luts from emotivecolor.com to match the cameras perfectly
good luck!
@@JonBear thanks so much for writing back really helpful.
@@kristaylor7119 Sure thing! I am happy to help
So are you saying that your pc can edit BRAW easier than 4k pro res?
Yes! At least in Davinci resolve
@@JonBear Oh. Nice! Good to know thank you!
4:50 missed the chance to say when you go black, you never go back 😂
Dang. And it is so true.
Had a question though, how's the sigma 17 50 f2.8 on bgpcc 4k? Any idea?
I have not tried it. But with the viltrox speedbooster it will become a fast f2.0 lens. The zoom range is really fantastic. It's a great lens. I would say it's the budget version of the sigma 24-70 lens (more than twice as expensive). Go for the 17-50 and let me know how it works!
I'll share with you bro! Thanks
Once you go BLACK magic . you never go back ..
Ooof yeah I am discovering that. Now I want more black magics
Does the touch to focus still work on the bmpcc4k with the sigma 18-35 and viltrox?
Unfortunately, no. But it does on the Lumix GH5
How do you get that npf battery adapter to work?
I got one and my battery is fully charged and everything looks good (I know it's charged because my npf has a small display on it)
BUT the issue comes in as SOON AS I plug the 12 Volt power cable into the adapter.
Does your battery plate output 12v?
@@JonBear ya, it's the exact same smallrig plate that you have in your setup.
@@JonBear any ideas??
@@A.M.A.D.E.U.S. How do you connect the plate to the bmpcc4k?
Who needs a Bmpcc 4k pro😏😉
ahaha man I'd love one. But the 6K pro is very enticing with the internal ND
Very interesting!
Thank you 🙏
Iam getting two of them
Big production! Nice! Good luck!
Yes! Dammit; it is!
Love from Pakistan 💚🇵🇰
Cheers brother!! I checked your channel trailer. Fantastic shots all around. Keep up the hustle!
Thanks mate 💟
Is the BMPCC4K worth it in 2021...what kind of question is that? Ask me this question in 2050 and ill probably still say yes (if im around, lol).
You could just use the speed booster on the 6k....
6K is an EF camera. Unless you know of some speedbooster that adapts Larger lenses to EF? Which still seems counterintuitive to me since larger sensor lenses are just more expensive, why bother when I can get these stellar results on the Pocket 4k for far less money
wow!
Agreed but it’s called BEE RAW
Ask yourself, which one is more fun to say?
Uh, Bro? The Panasonic is a great camera but LACKS AUTOFOCUS!!! and it has never been addressed by Panasonic which SUCKS because I really liked/wanted to purchase it.
OOMPFH!
The ultimate indicator of awesomeness
Pffft, who needs a reason when those curves and edges speak for themselves
Now I have a camera to film my camera 😂👍
You guys do realize that you can use that speed booster on 6k as well right? Lol. Plus this video didn’t age well. The new 6k pro is a beast
ahaha you could say that. However you can currently get two p4k for the price of one 6kpro.
Could you link the speedbooster that you use on the 6k? Never heard of a EF-EF speedbooster
