Low ride height would increase downforce but high would increase straight line acceleration and uneven height will bring corresponding in corresponding parts of your car....
the high is foundamental to set great lap time because if you ride on the limits you will notice that a lower car has more grip but the car became not so balanced when there are some hills or level discontinuity in the pit. you have to test and select the right heigh depending on your riding style, and steer sensibility etc. a lower front could help in directions and when you brake etc but you have to find a compromise with traction control in the rear etc the best asset you will find the better you car could discarghe the power in the track
Read The Help section on the game it says clearly ride height does not affect performance in any way shape or form neither does paint color I read some morons saying red cars are faster in the game that's stupid.
It will be better if you didn't change the ride height at the rear end put it on 0 then put the front end at the lowest it can be trust me it gives the car more grip
