Tundra Capstone Four weeks in on a Capstone its been back to dealer for 8 days of the 28 days due to high levels of vibration increased under load and towing. 1. Took 50+ presses of the fuel cap release to get it to start working, 2. Rear tailgate same issue but continues. 3. The side steps keep staying out, 4. The middle rear seatbelt alert goes off without anyone sat in it, 5. The rear tailgate is 4x larger gap LHS than RHS, 6. The hybrid hasn't kicked in once sat in the school line stationery daily, 7. Gas mileage hasn't topped 16mpg (67mpg on cruise for 1K miles) with tops 8mpg towing 6K lbs along i10. 8. The screen has now failed and requires a pin every 10 to 20 minutes. 9. All niggles but the vibration under load with an empty car trailer and then loaded results in front seats shaking 1 to 2" forward and back at a high rate......according to 'experts' at Mike Calvert Toyota Houston this is apparently how Toyota trucks are. Including the panel spacing quote the Service Manager "all the Tundra's in our lot are that bad!"........
Buyer's regret? I want a 2024 but I'm struggling with the pricing esp. if the new ones have issues like these. I knew the 2022 had issues, esp. when my service director traded in his 2022 for the 2023 due to service issues. I buy from Sterling McCall not Mike Calvert.
You have to "subscribe" to navigation? $80K and they still want you to pay more money for the navigation to work? That's crazy. It's a nice looking truck and all, but if I'm paying that much money up front I'm not gonna let them nickel and dime me to death just to run the features that are supposed to come with it anyway. BMW is trying that crap with their cars now. I only hope their sales tank so they get the message.
I’m sorry but if I’m gonna pay $70,000+ for a pickup, then I think I damn-well ought to be able to get it with a V8, not some piddlyass lil “hybrid V6. My only criticism for an otherwise fantastic truck.
Funny that you can get these for a few grand off MSRP or you can buy a TRD Pro with it’s vanilla off-road package and cheap plastic interior for only 25k more with markup.
"Windows on all four doors". What a concept. They'll come in handy if it rains. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Sorry to hear you’re having all of these issues. 😔😔

About the only new tundra I'd ever buy. Love the capstone.
I just love that black 2023 Toyota Tundra Capstone!

I Love capstone ! Best trim TUNDRA
Now this is a truck luv it 😍
Very nice job with my dream vehicle dude.
How's the mpg ND can u add full navigation on cluster screen
Probably around 16-17 average, and I don’t think so.
Terrible mileage. Ram 2500 with a Cummins diesel gets better mpg, much greater tow/haul numbers, and a six foot bed for not much more money.

Real nice truck for the money!

No HUD or acoustic glass?
🤷🏾♂️😔
Do they make em with a V8 option?
No, V8 gone bye bye 😔
It's a 3.5l V6 Twin-Turbo, not 3.4l dude.
It’s a 3,445 cc motor therefore it’s technically a 3.4L engine but Toyota advertises it as a 3.5L because it sounds better.
One day, I buy a 2023 Toyota Tundra Hybrid.
Thats clean it actually looks like a truck. You can't tell it's a Toyota tundra
I love the cross, where is the 🌞😎?.
2023 Toyota Tundra CrewMax Hybrid Capstone 3.4L Twin-Turbo V6 4X4!
How much do you think?
$80,000
Nice!!!
Quiero comprar esa camioneta pickup Toyota tundra hybrid capstone 2023 por favor quiero
Available?
Yes, John Roberts Toyota in Manchester, TN
It’s nice but not for 80k
Love that fake engine noise. Much better than a real V8!
Did you say 3.4 😅 I thought they were 3.5
I think it’s borderline, but manufacturer says 3.4. 🤷🏾♂️😂
Too bad the black and white is the only color combo choice.
اللهم إني أسألك من فضلك المركب الموريح
How many gallon for tank
I believe it is 32 gallons.
Toyota Transformer truck. Nice
😂🤣
That can’t be a hybrid with that low of gas mileage.
Getting 21-22 in mine, I'll take it
