Almost Heaven- A short film about Northern Wisconsin/Minocqua

This film was created over the 2019 summer in Minocqua, Wisconsin between my sophomore and junior year of high school. It took 6 weeks in total to complete and I could not be happier with how it turned out.

I've never been to Minocqua, but my best friend in Chicago loved spending time there in his family's cabin every chance he got and posted beautiful pictures of the view from the cabin on Facebook. I hoped to go there with him the next time I visited from Florida, but he died unexpectedly last week. Thank you for posting this video and giving me a sense of the place my friend loved so much.

Great video. It is a magical place. I am going there in a few weeks on a biking trip. The Heart of Vilas County has the best biking trails in Wisconsin.
