Love the video bro, what was it lowered to once installed?

Thanks bro! I appreciate it. I’m actually going to raise the ride height slightly soon. When I first installed it I had the fender just over the tire for base fitment. It looks great, but over the months it has settled slightly (expected) and I don’t want any consistent fender rubbing upon hard braking and/or corner entry (front). I will be taking this to the track soon. I’ll do an update video once I’ve made the adjustments 👍🏼

Good Content! I am planning run spacers and M performance HAS on my G80 Competition, trying to play safe, quick question, is the rear wheels hiting the upper trim of the fender with 12mm spacers currently? thx for the help!

Hey, thanks for the support! 🙏 and no I’m not making contact with the inner fender in the rear with 12mm spacers installed. I was running 15mm and those rubbed in higher speed bumps. No issues with the 12mm 👍🏼

Where did you buy your AST kit? Everywhere I have looked for them they have been like a dark color instead of red and I want the red lol. Also love the in depth overview of this product!

Haha I totally understand! I love the red springs as well. I bought them from PSI (precision sport industries) here in Central Florida. They’re actively involved with AST/Moton directly so a great source for suspension 👍🏼. Also, thanks for the support, and glad you like the review 👊🏼👊🏼

How much lower did you lower it . I did 1.4 eibach and over bumps it ride bad!! It’s got to be away to lower your car and keep stock ride or better… why that’s not available is crazy. I’m 59 and I like low cars but I want a stock ride, I wish someone would make something just 1.4 front and 1.5 back with stock ride quality . I heard pedders and KW drops your car from 1-3 inches and you can adjust you ride quality to as good or better than stock!

Yeah i totally get it! This ALS kit does retain the factory EDC functionality so to me (in comfort mode) the ride is comparable to stock or at least pretty close to it. But, at the end of the day this is a high performance car so I can’t expect too much comfort from it 😅

BMW spend thousands of hours on road and track developing the suspension by seriously excellent engineers. Why do Americans have this strange obsession with trying to get the wheels to scrape the wheel arches with odd after market springs. Then drive at 55mph down big straight roads. Could be somebody is making money from stupidity?
