@@wanderingwithstacy yes I have the oasis, the case does have the dip in it the same as the device. I’ve been watching your videos on how to make covers, they are great! I’m going to give it a try… but that’s how I know how hard it is to get the clear case off 😁
All good ideas. I especially like the hinged adjustable tablet holder. That would be great for anyone, but especially bed bound people. I have a hinged version of the Ontel Pillow Pad which is on Amazon. It's compact and I can even put my Kindle in it when I collapse it, so it easily be put in a suit case or travel bag.
Depending on the person either amazon gift cards / a subcription to audible/Kindle unlimited. Or (if the person has a U.S amazon account/address) a membership to a out of state library to use with libby loans

Unfortunately it's time for my 2 dogs annual checkup and booster shots, and since I'm already going in debt because of breaking my shoulder, the only way I can see to pay for all this is to cut out any holiday stuff. So no Thanksgiving & no Christmas. I have my priorities.🙂👍🐾
Glass screens are harder to scratch than plastic, plastic is far softer. I wouldnt necessarily say a protector is necessary on the oasis, but definitely on the others. Super easy to scratch those plastic screens.

Clear Case has my vote. The Bean Bag looks cool but I think my Cat will become the beneficiary of that one.
