Fantastic! If you want to hear how an FBI Undercover legend survived listen to this.
I worked with Jack in Queens, N.Y. for about 9 years and he was the greatest UC I ever saw! He was almost kidnapped during one drug investigation by Dominican bad guys who planned to torture and kill him.
This story about his mafia involvement was great but he has a hundred that may have been more dangerous.
To me Jack Garcia was the guy who worked on my cases that helped my career along and got me to be the Section Chief of Organized Crime for the FBI and then to Special Agent in Charge.
This guy, Jack Garcia, is one in a generation! Jack would have received the Congressional Medal of Honor if the FBI had such an award! I love this guy!
But, read his book and listen to this podcast if you want to hear truly how it is done!!

I got a big laugh when Jack very politely broached the subject of FBI supervisors or managers who had no business supervising or managing anyone, so funny, there’s those few idiots in any agency that we all remember looking back over our career. We also remember how very few in LE were really good at undercover work and how valuable those who mastered that skill were to the mission. Jack Garcia is an old school LE hero!
