Stock OVER Eibach Springs?

  • Charger or Challenger Lowering springs or stock springs? In this video I take the eibach sportline lowering springs & put the stock springs back on! Why replace the lowering springs with Stock though? The stock ride height in my case is needed for the 2021 year. It will no longer have a negative camber - meaning all the tire will be used to get it moving! Also the weight transfer on launches will improve.

    You need to get an actual rear end set up. Go to a full poly setup in the rear. Dont keep the stock control arms. Go to a fully adjustable setup. Aad has some good products and so does bmr. Also take a look at cradle bushings. I dont know if you have replaced them yet. I prefer energy suspension but there are some other companies out there. Spend the money on suspension and dont cheap out. It can mean the difference between hooking and not hooking. It also helps with reliability of the components in the suspension.

      @@RTLife on my Challenger R/T I bought a set of SRT springs from someone who put Ebachs on their SRT. Cheap and effective and stiffer than R/T springs. I believe they are the same spring they use on the "Track Pack" with the Bilstein (Non adjustable) shocks.

  • @319speed

    I'm not a fan of stock height. Personally would have chose a more drag strip type setup. That way you can actually adjust the suspension more for that weight transfer and correcting it if it is going one way or the other and so on. But gotta give stock a shot first I suppose to see what it does right. The wide body would be interesting but not sure stock height will look that great with it on. Either way to see what you do will be a blast! I ordered tons of parts for my LS ranger swap. I'll be filming soon for it and building it very soon. I've dumped like 15k into making this happen so far. Congrats on the subs bro! Doing good! Hope you and the family are good!

    • @RTLife
      @RTLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is no way the setup I had would work with the new rims & setup coming in. Before deciding on the next suspension setup, I need to have everything in place 1st. A lot of balls in the air right now - 2021 is going to be an interesting one. I'll keep a lookout for the LS Ranger! Thanks man for the support - always appreciate it
