Why the hell did I have to stumble across Thorn on TH-cam? How is this guy not everywhere? He is absolutely hilarious and SERIOUSLY talented with a guitar. His voice is prime for country music or any music for that matter. Talent scouts today are sorry as hell if they let this guy slip through the cracks.
I fell into the Paul Thorn rabbit hole with, "It's a Great Day to Whip Somebody's Ass" 10 years ago. He did a show at Hippy Jacks" that is on TH-cam and that was it, he can be funny and he can suddenly turn to a song that is really insightful. I knew of Tommy Emmanuel long before that, I know Tommy Emmanuel plays with people of all genres and brings out the best in them. He is always on the move, always sharing his talents with people and introducing those of us who watch him to great talents.

Jeffory Richardson I’m sure but many players Who have played as long as he has can do that ..... I do not think that ever in my life I could be half the player that Tommy is , but I can play along with somebody that is playing a song with a basic chord structure like that just by listening.... I could have my eyes closed and find the key on my guitar in a few bars but I could still never play like Tommy he is amazing !!
