Hello I noticed in your video that you say but you don't understand why TVs with 12-volt built-in is more expensive it's because they are sealed keep the damp out and also they can take a lot more vibration than a standard TV.
Hi John, in this van I had a 120w solar panel and a 90 aph battery and I never had an issue 4 day off grid was the most I did with this van though. I hope that helps.
I haven’t but that’s a great shout. I have a different van now but I still have the Tv so I will try that when I have a bit of time and make a video, anything in particular you are looking to install?
Hi Malcolm I no longer have virgin so I can’t retest this but. Because the TV is android you can download the virgin app that allows you to watch its programs to the tv and then as long as the tv has Wi-Fi you will be able to watch the virgin program schedule, much the same for Netflix Amazon Prime etc. Of course you could always cast from your phone too.
Hi thanks for watching, usb as in a dongle? If so use the remote to select it. I am currently in Indonesia but when I get back l can check but it will be probably another 3 weeks
I don’t see why not we haven’t tried it ourselves but the tuning would work and android apps work around the world, country specific tv channel apps might be slightly different though.
Has anyone had any problems with connecting iPhones to this as in downloading apps etc … I can’t believe Apple haven’t brought something out similar to androidTv I’m hoping it’ll all be good - will let you know in a week or so 👌🏼 please wish me luck. Thank you Marc 👍🏼
I am just about to move house and everything is packed but I now have a iPhone so I will try to replicate your problem once I move car I ask what are you trying to do ? Connect to your iPhone Wi-Fi?
@@FootstepsTyretracks thanks for replying to me Marc, I was just hoping that I’ll still be able to download apps with an iPhone as it’s all “google play” and the android way of downloading apps etc. I couldn’t find any info on whether I’d be able to download additional apps with an Apple device or am I just being silly? Good luck with the move mate. 👍🏼
Hi @@SPS_survivor ah i understand you now, the tv actually runs on android the only thing your iPhone would be used for is tethering to the internet. For extra apps on the tv you would need a Google account and download them from Google Play. I hope that makes sense
yes no pairing of remote bloody nightmare going from oe town to the next couldnt seach for new channels my oler on had quich search i just pressed that to find channels ok

You are probably quite right but I still think they are expensive. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Hi thinking about getting one of these, what is the power usage like off grid ? Thanks

Have you tried loading Kodi or the Downloader app so you can add apk files to the TV?

@@FootstepsTyretracks Thanks for your reply. Kodi would be great but it might allow that from the google play store.
@@FootstepsTyretracks Downloader would be awesome too.
@@minimainiac1969 I will try when I have a spare 1/2 hour I have just gone into my Google account and kodi is available to install on the tv

Good review! How are you finding it now after a few weeks? I've just purchased one today after watching this 🤙
I really like it the picture quality is great and once you use a Bluetooth speaker with it the sound is great too. It's the perfect campervan TV
@@FootstepsTyretracks set mine up today and I'm amazed how good it is for the price! Will be great paired up with the WiFi in the caravan
@@gavinwilliams9091 it is amazing for the price.
Chinese designed and sourced, but assembled in the UK .
The sound on these tv are appalling and would need a sound bar for quality sound .
Yes I have to agree the sound is very poor but adding a bluetooth speaker in the setup improved it.

Get rid of the background music. It's unnecessary and annoying.
