I've just put this into practice. I washed all my brushes inc full set of Sigma brushes (can't wait to use), I've hung all the thick powder, blush & kabuki brushes on a wire hanger over the sink. Thanks so much for sharing Koren!

this is such a good idea! Ive seen many where they tell you to buy a brush guard and but it at least a good cm forward and face it upside down in a glass, but who wants to go out and waste money on brush guards? So this is very convenient and smart! THANK YOU ENKORE

Wow!!! You are so awesome and creative in so many things other than makeup application! Who would have thought of that but only Koren!!! I was using my Kabuki's sparingly cause I did not want to wet the base! Now I can use them with ease! Thanks Koren for this wonderful tip!

Koren that was great! I was just washing my brushes tonight and it never occured to me that moisture could gather at the base of my Kabuki brush. Thanks so much! I know I can always count on you for great ideas. I'm still raving about UDPP repoting (into the lipgloss/brush decanter). I tell everyone I know who uses UDPP. Keep up the great work!

Lately I've been using a kabuki for my cream foundation and I love the results it brings!
Which also means I'm having to clean it all the time, I will definitely be using this trick!!!

  • @jackieiscandy

Dear Enkore, really good idea, but I also found that when it is drying by itself upside down, the steam would supposed to accumulate into the handle(not the sink water but the steam) which is also annoying. So what I am thinking about is when the brush is not that wet it is still better to let it dry in flat.

I find using a microfiber cloth works great - really absorbs all the water QUICK so I can use the brush right after washing it.
