Yes, I have started to do it. I witnessed an accidental death and subsequently, thinking same for a few months and got anxiety and depression. Though even in that siruation, I pursued my Ph.D in physics. I was never feeling well. But by God grace, I heared lecture by Sree Kripaluji Maharaj. Direction of thought slowly changed from -ve zero and now little bit +ve. Same way I happened to listen you Swamiji. And now, I am getting better and better. I had no goal after retirement. But Now I have a few. I pray and need your blessings and guidence. Regards.

Yes i do meditation on a regular basis. I chant gayatri mantra 108times a day as well as do mediatn for 10-15mins a day and it helps me alot to cope up with the barriers that comes during whole day in my life....i suggest all of u to do mediatn for the peace of ur mind and the body....

They meditate on the loving form of God, virtues of God, divine abode of God, divine past times of God (leelas) and their Guru (a God-realized Saint). While God-realized Saints can directly perceive the actual Divine Form of their Ishtadev in their mind through their divine senses, we cannot perceive the divine form of the Lord or our Ishtadev in our material mind. So, the spiritual aspirants or sadhaks try to create a form of their Ishtadev in their mind to their liking during meditation or dhyan, and nurture divine sentiments towards that form.

Earlier I used to do meditation on breathe, almost more than 20 years I practiced. My aim was to control my emotions. But it didn't worked out well. Until unless I started 'Roopdyan meditation' suggested by Swamiji, I was not aware that, I had great will power to tolerate adversities and to stay calm in all situations, especially increased love for God. The way Swamiji explains about pre-frontal cortex, is like muscle to enhance the will power. I think no one would have put it the better way, he did. Have you ever experienced "Zero throught" ? Its the deepest state of mind where there is no throught in the mind. Not even focusing in breathing. Your mind goes to gamma state in zero throught.. Few people in the world experiences Zero throught. It is believed that " zero throught" unlocks your psychic powers like telepathy, telekinesis and others. To go in zero throught state requires extreme meditation.

Very clear explanation from Swamiji about how to reconfigure the mind. Taking time out to sit quietly and turn the mind to God becomes easier and easier. Over time it is increasing my faith in God by repeatedly allowing the mind to go to His pastimes and qualities, and let go of the worries and fears. It is like stepping off the stage and taking a meaningful break to refresh and purify the mind.
