- The next step in our #skoolie build is to seal the roof and windows. Did we do enough to make our #skoolieconversion water tight? What we found after all of our work surprised us.

It's nice that you have the time to be able to see where these leaks are coming from.
Definitely, all of the leaks would be behind a wall or the roof hatch leak would be behind the ceiling. We are thankful that we can fix them before the build.
The roof of the bus looks very nice and white! 😁And impressive work with the windows, taking them out and back in again. Luckily the rain didn't happen until after they were back in. After identifying the leaks and then fixing them, I hope the next time it rains there are none. I wonder if there are alternative ways of filming from the roof of the bus without using a tripod? Could be expensive replacing them. 💰💸
Thanks kiwiman! Looking back at that situation, I probably shouldn't have had the camera up there with the wind that strong. I will definitely be looking at other options if I need to film up there again.

Thank you! I probably should not have put the camera back up the second time. I'm actually lucky the tripod broke, so the camera stayed on the roof lol.

@@pushythom okay, I still have some sealant left that I used. There are only a few leaks and it's coming from the corners. I guess I'll just put some more in those areas.

Can I why you kept all the windows just curious. I really admire what you are doing that is hard work😊
Thank you! We decided to keep them for a couple reasons. 1. The cost of deleting the windows is more than we wanted to spend and 2. We really like a lot of natural light. When we were in our camper it always felt so dark. So we're really excited to have a lot of windows. We do plan on making curtains to go over all the windows. Thanks for the questions. Thank you, it turned out pretty good. We used the Dicor Brand Metal Roof Coating. It is similar to Henry's.
Did you get all the leaks taken care of?
