After watching that they put subtitles in the remastered version, I didn't realized how much of the dialogue I missed back in the day when I was a kid and I only heard it. Now, in my young adult years, it feels as if I'm reading a classical novel again after so long.
Convoluted at best. Soul Reaver was never properly finished...then even after 2 direct sequels it's still left open ended and full of inconsistencies..

1:35:10 I love that they did this remaster... But some characters are so different to the original design. Like, Raziel looks spot on and amazing, but then you have Zephonim vampires looking like a different style altogether.

Yes, the naming conventions on each title got progressively more confusing. The order of games in the series are: 1 - Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain (Kain is protagonist) 2 - Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (Raziel is protagonist) 3 - Soul Reaver 2 (Raziel) 4 - Blood Omen 2 (Kain is protagonist again, story takes place after Blood Omen 1, but before Soul Reaver 1) 5 - And then Legacy of Kain - Defiance (Both Kain and Raziel are the protagonists)
Its a speed bug. Tunes out faster than it should. You can bypass the bug by a jumping a few times after you get passed the gap. Normal jump. Not gliding. Gives you a speed boost on flat ground.
They "improved" the one thing that held up the best from the original, the visuals. And kept all the mechanical jank and tech limitations that actually needed improving exactly the same. This franchise deserves better. Emulating Soul Reaver on Flycast (Dreamcast Emulator) with the fan made HD texture pack, is still the superior method.
I doubt it lol. This is yet to be patched over months. Tomb raider remastered needed patches for jank. It's an old remaster I dont know what people expected. its not even jank lol have you actually played it before?
It's channels like this that make me laugh they either pre-order and wait to the last minute to hurry up and make a video of gameplay or they go and pirate it and do the same thing 😂😂😂😂 milking much
One of the oldest games about vampires that has a cult following of it's own. It's INSANELY fun and has amazing lore wish they'd remaster all of the legacy of Cain games tho not just soul reaver
good effort with the upload but the game looks horrible, plays horrible. lazy and worthless "remaster", it needed better animations and more polygons not a slight graphical improvement that's pretty much more contrast and some shading and combat is still terrible especially the staying on target with attacks, you attack the air 80% of the time.
They added a map though, the biggest flaw in in the original game. Classic, legendary adventure game. Saying it was 'ahead of its time' is silly. It clearly was.
This is just as low effort and ugly as the GTA Definitive Edition. Zero updates to level geometry. No improvement to render distance or particle effects. It's just a texture pack.
not defending this cash grab in particular, but comparing this to Rockstar's Definitive Edition is unfair, this costs a fraction of the Definitive Edition, does the Definitive Edition have 1 game more than this? yes it has, but still is way shadier than this, while this is not worth anyone's money, the Definitive Edition is a straight up robbery and a slap to the face to a fandom that simply accepts it with a smile on their faces because in their tiny little brains Rockstar can do no evil, so consumers out there, companies keep doing that because you allow it.
