Man I miss South Louisiana so bad. I don't feel connected to nowhere but the little 80 acres my family live on. I felt connected to all of there.

Some friends and I enjoy riding through the rigolets on our bikes on our way to Bay St. Louis. It’s an awesome ride!.

Great video I stumbled on you when I was reading about Brunet winning his lawsuit in federal court on his obscene flags. I had to read about his win 😊😊from the newspaper of the source. You were there in the Gazette! I will be following you since I am into this type of content and anything Louisiana. Thank you for doing a very professional job!

One of the most scenic byways anywhere. Truly magical. Well worth the extra time to bypass I-10 when going between New Orleans and Gulf Coast Mississippi.

It's a shame the west pearl river bridge has been closed since May of 2022. Bidding to replace the bridge will not even open until 2025...

@@thecaptainmaster, yes, and I find this delay dangerous to people fleeing hurricanes.

Also, some of the best Vietnamese food I've ever eaten. And that Dong Phuong's bread!! Not sure if that still holds up... it's been awhile.

I loved visiting Fort Pike near the Rigolets many times. It was like an old friend, Sadly, it's closed and falling into disrepait. THere's also Fort McComb, which was in the first season of HBO's True Detective.

Unfortunately, the West Pearl bridge is out of use and may be out of use for many months.

Great video! I naively thought it has to do with food like I imagine many do
