For park hopper. I believe you need to buy for all of your days. You cannot pick and choose the days you pay for park hopper.

I just wanted to come here to say that if you are looking at a 10 or 11 day trip, or several trips within a 12 month period, you'd be better off getting an annual pass and you will be able to park hop. You will also get discounts on shopping and food as well as room discounts.

Love this!!! I stayed there almost 10 years ago before staying at many other resorts and it set the bar too high LOL. We love POP for our usual trips but might do FQ for our honeymoon trip! Also, side note, the beds in POP are actually Murphy beds! Trundle beds pull out underneath :)
we truly loved French Quarter - and we do love POP too, always such a great price :) and you're right, i always get the beds confused!

My Disney day plan when I go with my daughter is usually, rope drop whatever park stay till about 1. Than head back to the hotel stay at the hotel about 4 hours and do eat/sleep/pool/games or just chill, shower than head park to any park around 6 and you have about 3-4 left in the park. Best of both worlds I feel in enjoying the parks and hotel.

Love what you said about Genie+ I totally agree, even though we got about 5 trips a year Genie+ is the way to go, you can do so much more in a day.

We just got back last Monday for a quick trip for the Tron AP/ DVC preview, park hopping is how we do Disney it’s the best.

Love the video! I always go back and forth whenever I see the park hopper option in my booking. I think I’ll try it in our next trip, especially if we have 4 or more park days.

We LOVE being DVC members! We bought 200 points at Riviera. We have 4 kids and we are able to do one trip a year with them and then an adults only trip just my hubby and I every year. So we get 2 trips out of it each year. We only pay $500 a month for it, and the great thing is, you only pay on it for 10 years instead of the rest of your life. lol So glad we did it. We are hoping to just go ahead and pay it off soon so we don't pay so much in interest.

I’ve been going to Disney consistently (approx. once every 16 months) since I was 3, and this was the first time I’ve been back since genie+ has been in place, and I got it for 7(!!!) people for one day in Hollywood Studios. Other than that, there wasn’t any attraction I wanted to do that I didn’t get to. You could definitely do it without Genie+ but it made our day SO much better.
it's doable without Genie+ for sure! however we really like the convenience of it

Hi yes you're right, you can't select them during your checkout! you can do this if you book your passes separate from your hotel
Okay so I’m intrigued after hearing your MK rope drop routine. How would you rope drop Epcot? I usually enter via skyliner
we normally rope drop Frozen depending on what I can get for a lightening lane!
I wish I had asked the question but what WDW resorts have you stayed in? Even before joining DVC we always stayed on the monorail loop but we have also stayed Old Key West , Saratoga in 1 bed room villa, and recently last trip Riviera Resort where we bought our 4th home resort at we loved it so much.
we have stayed at Coronado Springs (in a standard room in Ranchos and in the Grand Destino Tower with a water view), All Star Movies, Pop Century, and Port Orleans French Quarter!
