Yeah. Here in Maryland, we usually only get EF 0-1 tornadoes, and they’re usually rain wrapped. We also averaged maybe 3-6 per year. We had an EF 4 in LaPlata some years ago, but that was a rare one.
Usually, the Appalachians make them dissolve, but they squeak by now and then. The derecho a few years back was a nightmare. That was nothing. It would be just high winds where I live in North Georgia. I get it though, Maryland hardly gets tornadoes. Now being in a EF3 tornado is not fun. My house took a direct hit from one in 2020.

Yeah. Here in Maryland, we usually only get EF 0-1 tornadoes, and they’re usually rain wrapped. We also averaged maybe 3-6 per year. We had an EF 4 in LaPlata some years ago, but that was a rare one.
Usually, the Appalachians make them dissolve, but they squeak by now and then. The derecho a few years back was a nightmare. And those are inverted tornadoes stretched in a line, sounded like a freight train with the sickly green sky and everything.
Our problem is tropical storm or hurricane stalls. They slow down, dump rain, and cause biblical flooding in a state with thousands of miles of coastline.

Literally after the heavy rain a huge dark cloud along with others passed through then a second after that i saw power flashes with different colors illuminating the sky flickering and almost knocking out the power in the townhouse i live in Baltimore then the winds just got intense for a couple of seconds then it was over

I live in Montgomery County's neighboring county Frederick County, MD here where I live we didn't have a tornado happen last night just a passing thunderstorm and rain.
